Great Sleep and Breakfast

Comfortable bed and great breakfast. Interesting side of the tracks. Lots of places to get cheap sim cards for your phones. This area had a lot of night time petty crimes, drug deals, and windows smashed on cars, but we felt safe in the day time hours. Really close to the train station.

More like a hostel

The room I stayed in is in desperate need of renovation, the beds are used to the level that fabric is peeling off, and ventilation was bad - it smelled weird every time I came back to it. The neighborhood was not the nicest (saw a guy pee 3m from me and my colleagues, police were often there, and did not feel safe in the evening there.

Good value for your money. Close to the main train stations and city center. The area can be a little rough, but a few blocks away and you’re good.

The location worked out great for getting to and from the train station. There were plenty of good restaurants in the area too. The room was ver small and did not have a shelf or anything to put toiletries in the bathroom.

The breakfast was awesome. The staff was very friendly. The room was good. The carpet was a little old and stained, but no big deal for me (bigger deal for my wife). It was warm in Hamburg during our stay and the rooms do not have AC, so it was kind of "stuffy" at times.

2 steps to get to the lobby. 2 elevators with one at lobby level for one building and need to climb a flight of steps to get to the other elevator in the other building. 2 people with luggage will fit any elevator. Block and a haft from the train station. Breakfast not bad No AC in our building
