It’s clean, facilities and amenities are modern and advance, although not state of the art yet. Staff are friendly. Had difficulty getting to the hotel from the airport as the taxi driver has not heard about the hotel and we spent almost half an hour looking up the directions for him. We could not find any contact number to call the hotel from the website. There’s a wide variety of cafes and eateries, however, most of them only opens at 10am. We could only find 3 open before 10am

Interesting concept, but still experimental

If you are not Chinese citizen or long-term resident, you don't get to enjoy much. Self-checkin is only for guests with a Cinese ID card, so foreigners need to br checkedbin manually, and they do not even have a piece of paper to give you for the room # or wifi pass. If you are a foreigner, again, you don't get to use Alipay, so you cannot use vending mac/ine, you cannot order roomservice etc. I don't speak Chinese, and the smart speaker in the room only understand Cinese. Face recognition key was convenient, but nothing notable. Nowadays, the China government is restricting foreigners w/o Cinese bank account to use mobile paymebt apps, so this place is not for visitors. Self check in was more efficient at CitizenM than here. Without Alipay, again, you don't get to enjoy the nearby shopping mall either. Besides those, breakfast was very very good.

Beyond robotic. Great!

Amazing stay ( 22/8/2019) to explore the technology and the comfort level is beyond and above the similar ranking hotel. I want to praise the lady officer who helped me to search & book restaurant in Hangzhou city, ordered the taxi service to send us there, even monitored the restaurant booking status and willing to update me via her WeChat. Obviously, it’s not a robotic environment when you need human touch. The officers ( including one more senior gentleman, her superior, I guess) were there to assist to meet my needs, it’s beyond their hotel provision but they gave me the good impression about the hospitality and feel good. Thanks you, you know who you are.
