My flight arrived hours before the 12pm check-in time, and the staff at the Mercure Hotel checked me in early. They were pleasant and kind. The room was great too! Nice and clean with good views.

I booked this hotel for a night when I see it is marked as 4-star as well as very good reviews from other travelers. However, when I was there, I was kinds of disappointed with it. First of all, the hotel is inside of a food city and there is no sigh of how you can get in and park your car until you ask somebody else. Also, the hotel itself is very far from city center. You'd better t have a car or you might waste too much time on the commute to the center of the city. Secondly, the hotel staff are not professional and polite enough. It seems they don't care about you at all. They would have joke with each other while they are checking you in. When we check out, an employee was playing Wechat without coming to help us until he was called by another staff. Thirdly, while the hardware and facilities of the hotel is very new, the room itself has some wired(bad) smell. Also, the shampoo and other toilet articles are very low quality products as you can find from other low star hotels/motels. In short, this hotel is better than other low end hotels but definitely not a four-star one. I don't recommend it if you really hope to find a comfortable place to stay.

The location is at a fast growing area of hangzhou. More cosmopolitan than I thought. It is a bit far from the city and train stations. Traffic in hangzhou is unpredictable. Plan more budget and time on your tour plan due to the traffic.

Everything was great, it is completely out of my expextation, I book a single room but got a free upgrade. Room is very very nice except certain time at night. I can smell sole cigratte near the toilet, not sure where the smell come from

I used to stay in the Mercure hotel for my business trip in different countries. It is the first time I stayed in Mercure Hangzhou Xixi Wetland. It is located closely to my working place and it has a dinner place next to the hotel, very convenient for work and dining. The room is spacious and clean and tidy, I felt comfortable to stay in this hotel.
