Enjoy this elegant and luxurious seventh story condo (Unit 751) as your home on the beach. It’s right on the water’s edge in Maui's premier vacation area 'Kaanapali Beach.' Relax on your wrap-around lanai as you enjoy unobstructed views of the beach, ocean, neighboring islands, and the mountains. Slip on your sandals and step directly onto the beach for a quick dip in the warm ocean, or just lounge on your lanai and watch the beach and ocean, share a meal, or read a book. Gaze at beautiful sunsets and amazing sunrises-even dolphins and whales in season-right from your lanai while relaxing outside in gentle island breezes. Wake up to a view of the ocean from your bedroom and let the soothing sounds of the ocean lull you to sleep...

The kitchen has been completely remodeled with granite countertops, updated appliances, wood cabinets, and newly refinished wood flooring. The king-size bed is a top-of-the-line Simmons Beautyrest. Two full-size marble bathrooms also have been remodeled with new mahogany cabinets and fixtures. This condo has a spacious floor plan and an OCEANFRONT ON THE BEACH, not just an ocean view.

The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach is an elegant guest condominium resort that offers many of the amenities of a luxury hotel. You can lounge around the pool or hot tub, which are kept in pristine condition. You can rent for a nominal fee wooden beach lounge chairs for two right on the beach. Large beach towels are provided right at the pool, where you can buy sunglasses and lotions. You can play tennis or work out in the exercise room and then relax in the sauna. Maybe you would rather have a massage or enjoy spa services, both offered at the spa located on the grounds of the Whaler. Also, there is a fully functional, state-of-the-art business center in the main lobby as well as free high speed internet access in Unit #751. Wireless internet is also available in all public areas. If you bring your laptop, you can store it in the room safe to which only you will have access.

If you feel like leaving your beach home, stroll along the beachfront walk and enjoy gourmet cuisine or a quick snack, or instead visit Whaler’s Village next door for world-class shopping. Scuba dive or snorkel in the Pacific right off your beach or from a catamaran; you can buy or rent snorkeling and diving gear at Maui Dive Shop right next door.

For golfers, you are across the street from two championship golf courses, Royal Kaanapali Golf Course North and South, one designed by award-winning architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Nearby are Kapalua Resort's two 18-hole championship golf courses-The Bay and The Plantation-recognized as #1 in Hawaii for Best Golf Resort by Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine. The Plantation Course frequently hosts the PGA Tour's season-opening Mercedes Benz Championship. For a treat, you can take the water taxi to Lanai and golf at the elegant Manelli Bay Hotel, where Bill Gates was married.

Our one-bedroom, two-bath condo is limited to two adults and two additional family members over the age of twelve. The condo is non-smoking, and we cannot allow pets (sorry). Check-in time is 4 PM (or earlier if ready) and check-out time is 11 AM.

HOUSEKEEPING:
All linens are provided. Cleaning prior to arrival and upon departure is included free of charge. Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged for a nominal fee.

RESORT FEES:
The resort will charge $33 per day (plus taxes) for resort fees which covers parking, amenities, public wireless and beachside towel service:

glitch and then paradise!

There was a mixup and our unit was occupied when we tried to check in. The owner and the Whaler management worked to get us into comparable or almost comparable units for several nights until we could access our original place, which we love. We have stayed in this unit several times and this was the first time we’ve had an issue. All good once we got in! Beautiful location, comfortable living and sleeping spaces, all in all we feel ‘at home’ in 751!!

Location Location Location

View from condo: Oceanfront-breathtaking. Location: When you watch sunsets from your balcony you will hear the Hawaiian singers playing from the Hula Grill next-door. It's dreamy. Just steps from whalers village & all the other hotels and restaurants. Parking: included in cost of condo. Condo Amenities: there is 1 beach chair, a portable ice chest, 2beach umbrellas & a beach bag. There's a black and decker automatic coffee pot, but you'll need to bring your own #4 coffee filters and coffee. The lobby does offer coffee for free or you can walk to the nearby Starbucks. There are instructions on how to use the TVs remote but the Samsung remote only turns TV on and works the volume. You'll need to use the 2nd smaller remote to stream. The owner provides small hotel type of hand bar soaps, travel size shampoo & conditioner. The complex does supply beach towels. There is a stand near the pool & for $100 a day you can rent 2 lounges & 1 umbrella, $25 for a chair. The chairs are free after 5 PM. This condo is in the perfect location and you will have a wonderful vacation if you stay here.

Ocean front at the Whaler

The ocean front views from this unit are fantastic. Although the bathrooms could use a makeover, the kitchen has been updated and is very well equipped
and it has a view! The furniture is older, but comfortable and attractive. The unit is quite spacious for a 1 bedroom condo, with two full bathrooms and a large living room. Although there were only two of us, the two bathrooms mean it could also work for a small family or two couples. Also the location is great, a very short walk from Whaler’s Village with its multiple restaurants and shops. The fire tragedy in Lahaina means that Whaler’s Village is the only place nearby to eat and shop, so it’s busier and more crowded than ever. We have visited Maui many times and stayed in Kapalua, Kaanapali and Wailea. We prefer West Maui and appreciate the quieter feel and views from Kapalua, but if you want convenience plus views, this is the place to be. Also the staff at the Whaler are friendly and helpful.

A No Brainer!

After the Maui fires our resort reservation was cancelled and we turned to VRBO for an alternative. Our goal was an ocean facing view and prime location. Man... did we meet (and exceed) our goals. The wrap around balcony gave us perfect views of both the water and mountains, and the apartment itself had everything we could need from two full bathrooms, a big living room, full kitchen and LOTS of drawer and closet space (not to mention hangers which I appreciated). With easy access to top restaurants, shopping, black rock cliff jumping (terrifying but I did it) and swimming with turtles (there was a family of 5 that happily swam with us every day)....this trip was exactly what we needed. The reception was seamless and inviting and we enjoyed the pool and easy equipment rentals. Adam was very responsive and accommodating throughout. Maui has suffered immensely this year and we are so glad the bride and groom (the reason for our trip) did not change their destination wedding after the fires. The locals were so welcoming and we were genuinely happy with our stay. We highly recommend this property and hope to come back soon.

Wraparound Lanai with Breathtaking Views

We just spent three nights in Kaanapali in this oceanfront unit on the 7th floor of The Whaler. Our favorite feature was the wraparound lanai with spectacular views of Molokai, Black Rock, the ocean, Lanai, and the mountains. The unit was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the views were incredible. We highly recommend!

AMAZING

This condo was the absolute best! The wraparound deck was perfect with oceanfront views of the ocean and fabulous views of the mountains. It was close to everything from Black Rock to the Whaler shopping village. Sunsets were gorgeous and we were entertained by live music every night from the restaurant next door. It was never too loud. It was perfect. The condo was extremely clean, kitchen was fully supplied and bed was very comfortable with a sliding door that allowed us to listen to the ocean while going to sleep.

The perfect spot

Perfect location for whale watching, snorkeling at Black Rock, walking the boardwalk and visiting shops and restaurants nearby. This is our second stay in this unit, and we love it! Nothing better than having a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine on the lanai.

Terrific unit - can’t beat the view!

This is our second stay in this unit - clean, comfortable, and decently stocked kitchen - only suggestion is to get a couple of cutting boards. The communication with the property manager was terrific — a storm blew over the outdoor table which has a crack in the top. The management company immediately got another one — really helpful!

Amazing View!

The pictures online of the view from this condo don't do it justice. We've stayed at the Whaler before and this is our new favorite unit. Adam was great helping us get checked in a little early. The condo was perfect for our needs, and the location next to Whaler's village can't be beat. We will definitely be back. Thank you Adam!
