Rooms were clean. Location was excellent and only minutes from downtown Helen. The surrounding property was beautiful.

We left the hotel at 10:30 pm. We checked out and drove the 3 hours home. We couldn't sleep, people were to loud in the hallway and outside. You could also smell weed in our room. We would like our money back, very disappointed. We won't recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, simple room. Bed was comfortable. Shower was warm and bathroom generally clean and functional. Breakfast was quite good at the restaurant with sizable portions. Consider splitting. :) No frills room, but great location with a good view. Perfect for those who want to hike the park or enjoy other park amenities. I would definitely return.

Went to the restaurant/bar for dinner. We were seated, given menus and waited waited a while for service, then another patron informed us that they stopped serving dinner at 8:00. Seemed poorly staffed.

The room was 80 degrees when we got there because the AC units (3 of them in the cabin) weren’t working. Maintenance person came twice (very helpful guy) and he confirmed that there weren’t working and there wasn’t anything to be done to get them up and running. Hotel offered my family and I a full refund and that we could look for a room somewhere else at 6:00PM (with my 11 y/o daughter) in a packed small town. The cabins and AC units are obviously in need of good maintenance. Before booking, make sure to ask for a room that is in working order.

The location to downtown Helen is excellent. There are nice hiking trails, we did one around the lake 2.5miles and one into downtown Helen 3 miles. Free shuttle into town runs every hour. Nice fire pit area. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. We did not eat breakfast on site but the coffee was good.
