This was a basic hotel for a quick one night stay. The staff is nice. The rooms were very clean but I'm need of a renovation desperately

Had a good stay at the Baymont. The hotel is dated, the furniture in the room was old and worn. However, nothing was broken just aged. The room overall was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable with nice sheets. The shower was good, nice pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfast selection was small but good, with eggs, biscuits and gravy. Waffle maker and some pastries. Check in and out was easy and straightforward. We would stay again.

We were terribly disappointed in this hotel, and if there was a way to have cancelled our reservation, we would have done so. The hotel is very run down. The hallway carpets don't look as though they have EVER been vacuumed or cleaned! The floor in our room was dirty, their was hair around the toilet, (and I doubt that it had been cleaned or sanitized in months!) I was afraid of letting the water from the shower head wash over my face, as it was full of black mold. When we went to breakfast, about an hour after it started, there was little to no food available, and no one acting as though they were refilling the pans. The juice machine wasn't working, so we walked away hungry and disgusted. I would NOT recommend this hotel. When a customer comes to a place such as this, can we change our minds about staying and cancel the reservation??? I hope that the staff at least washed the sheets and linens. Ugh

The staff were very polite and friendly. However, the room was so dirty in the hallways stairwells were also so dirty. I could not stay there. I asked for another room in case it was just the room I was in second room was just as bad and I opted to go to a different hotel. It was really disappointing because the reviews talked about how clean the rooms were.

The hotel needs some TLC. The stairwells don’t look like they have been cleaned in a while. Also the bathtub is very dirty - nor bc it hasn’t been cleaned, but bc it is old and permanently stained. The toilet in our room also just randomly filled up again. I suspect there is a leak somewhere.

Staff was super nice but the stairs and floors really needed cleaned and the shower head in our bathroom had pink slim and black mold. Luckily i had cleaner in my car. Bed was comfortable just the up keep and cleaning were very poor. Photos were deciving

We were early for breakfast so there were no biscuits but the gravy was there. Waffles were good. Room was nice for the price and we would stay there if we’re ever in Halena again

Honest

The king suite we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. It was really nice having the extra sitting area. The only real negative was the shower. The spray head was first stuck on pulsate and then we finally moved it and it was stuck on a narrow stream. The tub seemed either dirty or stained. The most positive aspect of our stay was the honesty of the cleaning staff. I left my Kindle and a pair of shoes in my room. They were waiting for me when I returned to the hotel several hours later. So nice to have decent, honest people working and doing the right thing.

One Star for basic, safe accommodation and One Star for the outstanding staff. I felt reasonably safe and despite a thunderstorm prior to my arrival knocking out the internet for about 18 hours, I was graciously checked in without issue. I immediately had an issue with the bedding, as there was some blood on it, but the front desk was quick to get me replacement bedding. Had a king with a pull out sofa in the room. Sofa wasn't very comfortable. My bathroom had a cracked sink and the tub definitely needed some work too. Room smelled musty but not bad. I suspect the AC unit may have needed a cleaning but the AC worked well. Hallway carpet needs to be either professionally cleaned or replaced as it is noticeably dirty and stretched at the lobby end of the hallway. I did not partake in the breakfast, but it smelled wonderful. I also didn't use the pool, but saw other families using it and having a good time. Hot tub was closed. Parking is not good. There are enough spaces in the lot to handle things, but large trucks have a tendency to not leave much room for other guests to get in and out. There is only ONE entrance/exit. There is also no temporary space for guests checking in, so this created a bottleneck for me at one point (stayed 2 nights), as an individual with a disability just parked right inside the entrance and left his car there. Would I stay again? Yes, but not at the price point that I paid this time around.

I lived the soft bed, hotel beds are usually hard and lumpy. What i didn't like was the dirty hallway, cold swimming pool , and the hot tub was down for maintenance for the two days i was there. That sucked.

The main bed was fine, the pull out sofa bed was mangled and stained (I assume urine) it was dusty throughout, there were some rogue hairs. The stairs leading to the lobby were dirty with food and other debris. The parking lot was packed in the evening. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good.
