Lovely cottage in a beautiful location very warm a cosy made all the better with the log burner, wonderful shower in wet room and the outside bath looked wonderful but maybe not in October.
This is a fab place in a wonderful location. We took our bikes and cycled down to the local pub and enjoyed the walks. I wasn't sure about the outdoor bath but gave it a go and it's actually a brilliant experience!! We will definitely return.

Lovely cottage ideal for 2 people.
Lovely cottage ideal for 2 people. Everything you could want. Excellent location with plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the local area. Plenty of leaflets and books provided to help you with this. Just a little tip: if you are staying in the colder weather you might like to gen up on your fire lighting technique. There is a lovely log fire and plenty of logs. The owner could not be more friendly and helpful.
Beautiful little place, miles away from anywhere, perfect for a real get away from it all break. So lovely inside. We used the outside bath one night ,which was lovely with a clear sky at night. but very cold .
Owners were at hand but wouldn't know they were there. We visited Housesteads roman forte, which was a wonderful 4 mile walk around Hadrians wall and we visited Kielder water park and forest. We also had a day at Whitley bay which we found a lovely day by the seaside .
