Checking was great and easy to find. Pool was closed for maintenance and only complaint is found a used band-aide in one of the beds under the comforter on the side of the bed. Other than that it was perfect!

We were not sure what to expect but went with the ratings and booked. It was a very cozy hotel . Extremely friendly staff! We stayed one night in a two queen room it was spacious and comfy. We will book here again when we go back to the area!

This property should NOT be a two star - it should easily be a 3 star. I stayed here on the way back from a conference after staying in a name brand 3-4 star hotel in a Texas city. Lea County Inn was by and large the way better experience. The staff was so friendly and kind and the room was immaculate with amenities you don't expect at their price point (nice toiletries, microwave and larger fridge, etc) and the bedding was clean and super comfy. It seems to be a family run establishment and every staff member I talked to was so friendly and kind and wanted to make sure I had what I needed. The hotel is safe, quiet and so clean. Even though it was on a frontage road, there was a nice park down the street with a lake. I don't know when I'll be back this way but when I do, this will definitely be my go-to hotel. A hidden gem.
