The cottage has an open plan layout with a spacious living and dining area that opens out to the covered verandah and ocean views. There are three air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and access to the patio along with an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twins - perfect for groups or families. There is a fully equipped kitchen and also a bar with a mini fridge! The cottage is decked out with everything you need to enjoy an unforgettable holiday.
We are happy to recommend the best on-island activities, but you've got a gem of a location on your hands and you might just want to spend every day exploring the beach at your doorstep. We look forward to welcoming you to Barbados!
The location of this property is pretty perfect with stunning terrace views. Super relaxed. The house manager, Petra, is the best host Iâve experienced. Really thoughtful, can manage anything you want and super communicative. I canât not recommend this place
The villa is beautiful and a perfect location right by the beach. But what makes this place more special is the property manager, Petra. She is simply the BEST!
She is very kind and cares about the guests.
We arrived at the property the day before hurricane Beryl, she helped us to move to another property so that we were safe. She brought us water and groceries and kept us informed about the Barbados/hurricane news during the entire time. Once the hurricane passed Barbados, she moved us back to the Beach Front Bliss villa.
Because of her, we were were safe and sound during the hurricane.
The house was clean, but everything was very dingy. It felt old and out of style - needs painting and redecorating. The entrance to the driveway is a huge mess of trash bags - very awful. There is no lighting at the entrance or on the driveway. It felt unsafe. There are gates that you can see in all of the photos, which are secured by padlocks -- one on the front of the house, one on the back that faces the beach and one for the gate in the yard that leads to the beach. We kept them all locked when we went out and at night, which felt weird to be locked in in such a way. We had not been locking the gate from the yard to the beach or the gate on the back of the house when we were in the ocean just a few feet (and in sight of) the house. One day, our 16-year-old son stayed at the house while the rest of us went into the ocean. He heard someone yell something that he didn't understand and assumed it was coming from the pathway just beyond the wall that encloses the backyard. The next thing he heard was the screen door opening. He came out of his room, thinking it was one of us who had returned to get something. But it was an intruder! The man made up a story saying that we had sent the man to get our son to buy mangoes. Our son was confused but followed the man out to the walkway where we saw them. He asked my son if he was scared and told him "I'm not a robber" then walked away toward Folkestone. We found only $4 missing from the table at the house, but we were shaken up.
This house was beyond what we could have asked for. Directly ocean front (you can listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep) with two quiet beaches on either side. Private wall and shrubs hide you from the boardwalk but not from the view.
Property was beautifully landscaped, we spent all day every day outside and just popped under the lanai when rain came.
Location is great, walking distance to Holetown and very close to the bus stops.
We wanted to stay forever!
