Our room was on the second floor and the hallway was very darkly lit. Just felt odd. Our keys stopped working on the second day. We had three rooms in our party, separate reservations, and all keys didn’t work. Front desk was able to get us new keys. The first night, December 30, the pool area was empty but we still had to go to the front desk for towels. We were told they’d put more out but they did not while we were there. Breakfast had a hard time keeping up on Jan 1. Pancake machine had issues and people were waiting for eggs for 10+ minutes. We were notified of a water shut off 11-3 on Dec 31. The note was under our door when we woke up. Given only two hours notice was just a bit odd. An indication of what would be affected as well as offering water bottles would have been nice. Overall a fine stay.

Very nice, clean hotel and room. Although we didn't use it, the pool area was very nice and the pool was shaped like the state of Michigan. Beds were very comfortable and we made good use of the room fridge. My favorite thing though was how friendly and helpful the staff was. Much appreciated.

The first night our bathroom sink was plugged they fixed it right away. The last 2 nights were very loud. Hotel filled with lots of kids, ran and screamed in the halls. Was up until midnight, finally called front desk to complain.

The facilities were beautiful and clean, and the staff were very welcoming and professional, but the pool was out of order, which was the main reason for my stay at this location with grandkids. Hotels.com did not warn us, and because I booked through them, Holiday Inn could not issue a refund.

I did not realize I was booking such a fun space when I was looking for options for a conference. It's almost too kid friendly with the indoor/outdoor hot tub, Michigan-shaped pool, game room AND basketball courts. 9/10 would stay again IF the adult pool time started at 9:30pm, not 1030.
