Great house with lots of space inside and out. The beach never seemed to be crowded so we had plenty of space to throw a baseball, play bocce, etc. The walk to Surf City down the beach is about 2 miles and there are some great shops right near the pier (highly recommend Surf City Coffee). Would definitely stay there again!
Beach house is very nice. Kitchen amenities were plentiful for the 12 of us. With the house being 4 levels the air-conditioning struggled to keep up. We didnt use the oven very often or keep doors open long. The sliding doors on both levels hard to open due to poor lower sliding mechanism. Lower sliding door had no working lock....a stick was needed for securing door. The elevator was a great benefit for a house this size. There should be instructions on how to open the door to enter the elevator. This was frustrating. The fan remote batteries were dead...fan was either off or on full blast. For a house this size the parking was VERY LIMITED. We had room for 5 midsize cars tightly packed in. Public parking was a long distance away. Morning sunrise was amazing...almost every morning we saw schools of dolphins in front of us! Beachfront bliss!
The layout of the house was very nice. The parking was somewhat challenging, but we made it work. I was disappointed with the outside furniture. The picnic tables were so warped, they could not be used and several of the chairs were broken on the second deck.
What a great home for a large family to enjoy! We stayed here for our family's annual Surf City get away, and this property did not disappoint. The availability of an elevator for elderly guests was spectacular, and also certainly helped with the luggage going in and out of the home. This home has two beautiful decks and a lovely kitchen / living room / dining room to spend time together, enjoying the sights and sounds of the ocean. The property management company does a great job with linens and cleaning - it was very tidy and comfortable! A+!!
