Amazing Vacation

I recommend this house for vacation with friends and family. This house is really clean and huge that there is space for everyone. So nice that you can walk to the beach. Also, its really close to all the stores you need. We Enjoyed our stay with friends.

So Much Fun

House was spacious and well taken care of. We were surprised to see 2 refrigerators and boy did that make a difference with 10 adults staying there. Taking a slide down into the pool was a huge hit for kids and adults. Enough kitchenware to make dinner for our huge group. Easy walk to the beach. Be careful in the crosswalks as many cars do not stop for pedestrians. Beach was great and kid friendly. Would love to come again.

Very nice but frustrating

Nice obviously rented a lot . Needs better eye for details. Simple things like painting ,better clean up. Organization. Prep house for a stay so people aren’t calling about things that should of been done Told house was ready then the pool was never touched . Don’t have landscapers come and cut trees down after renter called to fix the pool/ clean just to leave all the debris in the pool again.

The entire family had a wonderful time. Finding a beach cart, umbrella, chairs, etc. was great.

Plenty of space to hang out both inside and out. Having a second fridge in the garage was great for access from the pool. Only one thing missing, for the number of people who could stay, there were not enough pots which was a minor issue. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Beautiful Home with Plenty of Too.

The location is fabulous-just a short walk to the beach and ample bedrooms/bathrooms. My grandson age 9 loved the pool with the slide which is fast and fun. There were many beach toys and chairs, an umbrella, and a wagon to bring your things to the beach, there is a trolley stop very conveniently located also less than a block away. The reality of this pool is that the foliage is constantly dropping, so expect to use the skimmer/net to remove debris from the pool daily. There had been a day of very strong winds and management company was responsive and pool was cleaned and serviced the day after we arrived. Hot tub was great but when water is diverted to hot tub/spa jets, the slide water doesn't flow. Not a big issue since the kids usually are plenty wet enough for the slide. I personally found the pool equipment to be loud and I wished there was a fence around it to minimize the noise. The outdoor pool area was fantastic otherwise with a bar, TV, couches and large table/chairs area.

We loved the house and location. The pool and slide were great for the kids. One block to the beach was perfect and the beach there was in between the main beaches which was great and a little less crowded. The only issues we had were with internet and TV connectivity which was a daily issue. It was hard to know if that was the provider issue or the house specifically. The location was great. In between Anna Maria village and Holmes Beach so everything was close. We rented golf carts for the week which was perfect!

Overall fabulous week! There was a broken bar stool at kitchen counter & coffee pot had not been cleaned well. Some felt like it wasn’t as clean as it should have been? Lots of biting insects around pool! But— we still had a great time! Close to beach! Well go back! I’ll give it 4 stars!!!đŸ€—

Beautiful house close to beach

We stayed for a week and loved the property. Very clean, spacious and well kept. Pool and hot tub are great. The beach is walking distance. Roof top has a great view and is peaceful. Property management is easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would def stay again. The only con from our trip is the pool deck gets limited sun with all the vegetation. Also make sure to bring bug spray. The mosquitos are pretty vicious. Trimming vegetation back may help with both.

Family vacation

We had an amazing week here with extended family!! We didn’t have any issues checking in or out and the house was even nicer in person than in pictures. Great main hang out space for adults and kids. The pool was great temp and fun! Hopefully will be back next year!

three generation fun house

We loved the setup and location. The kids loved the pool but unfortunately the trees dumped A LOT of debris and we ended up maintaining the pool and having to skim and empty the filter so the slide and filter worked. I think the pool company needs more help. We shouldn’t have had to do this on vacation. The pool turned green by Friday (pool guy came at 3 and had to shock the pool) so, again, downtime with the pool. I also think the beds could use some updating...master bed squeaked horribly and upstairs back bedroom dipped into the middle. If you take the master on first floor, be prepared for a banging noise in the bathroom if windy. There is a vent cover that flaps outside. We had a leak under kitchen sink and the property manager had someone there quickly to fix it. Again, the location is perfect, beach beautiful, and home setup perfect. Property company was great to work with, and with a few updates, I would give it five stars.

Came with a few friends for a week long getaway and was very impressed with the house, items included in our stay such as a beach wagon and toys etc. House could use a few more dish towels for kitchen, and 3 of the beds are pretty squeaky but other than that it's an amazing place

Perfect home for families!

We had a great time visiting AMI and spending time in this home. Adults and kids loved the pool and slide. The kitchen was great for cooking meals, there were plenty of bedrooms and space for multiple families. We were close to the beach and a short trolley ride away from other area attractions. We had such a blast, it was a great location, beautiful home! We hope to come again.

Not what we expected...

I’ll start by saying the AMI is great, the beach was absolutely beautiful and less than a block away. The house itself needs some attention.. stained carpet and furniture, broken towel/toilet paper holders, knobs and kitchen cabinets, scuffed walls, etc. There wasn’t nearly enough towels, beach towels, beach chairs, dishes, pots/pans, plates... I could go on but that was the least of my worries. Upon arrival we found the pool/hot tub to be filthy and the hot tub was broken. It took over 24 hours for it to be cleaned and repaired. The outdoor tv didn’t work, there were not enough remote controls for all of the indoor TVs, no wine opener or wine glasses, no WiFi password displayed, no instruction on how to use the pool slide/hot tub (you must turn one off to make the other work) and the upstairs bathroom fans made clicking noises all night long. Another issue, you can’t turn the AC unit lower than 70, it constantly increases its tempature and you can’t adjust the settings to hold. The property manager/owner did address our concerns but with attitude and not in a timely manor (we did check in on a Sunday so I understand delays but if someone was checking these houses before check in, a lot of these issues could have been avoided) When you are paying top dollar for your stay, you expect to be treated as a priority and with kindness. Unfortunately we felt like an inconvenience. Hopefully they can take this criticism and make some quality adjustments.

Great house!

Great place. Pool was fun for the kids and close to the marina for the boat.

Our family had a wonderful time with plenty of room, great location and the pool was fun for all.

Agree with many of the previous reviews. The location was ideal for us in terms of it's proximity to the beach. We rented a golf cart which was perfect as it is a sort drive (or bike ride) to the town of anna maria. With six bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms, there was lots of space. The pool was certainly one of the highlights. That said, agree that the house could use some TLC and would be even better as did seem a bit worn. Other suggestion would be to provide some basic information either in advance or as you arrive about Wi-Fi, area attractions, coffee machine and other just helpful hints. Would also suggest more towels as we were constantly doing laundry, both beach and bath towels. That said, owner (Kiri) was super responsive and we made many memories. Definitely recommend.

Perfect blend...

Great spot with a great house...Only complaints - as someone put earlier - seems a little worn down (door handles and toliet paper holders falling off) Also a book with info would be awesome (wifi info, leaving instructions, trash pick up day, local laws - see below) Had issue with main floor A/C but Kiri fixed immediately and even from Italy made sure we got what we needed. The house was a great size and the slide for the pool was a huge hit! Beware there is a 10 pm Noise ordinance and the cops stopped by the first day to tell us the kids needed to quiet down (they were in the pool) They were extremely nice, but a neighbor had complaint. Overall, awesome place on a beautiful island and we will be back...thank you!

Great place, great location, great pool

This was a perfect large house for a family of 5 adult siblings visiting for our father's memorial service. There were plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space, and great gathering spaces. The pool was wonderful, and the slide was a complete hit. Kiri was quite responsive to any problems we had. It was a close walk to the beach, the trolley, and the monkey bus is a great way to get around the island without driving or worrying about parking. One big difference between the pictures/description and reality - there are only 4 full bathrooms, not 5. It is great having a house with this bed configuration of king beds instead of a bunch of twins and bunks and pull out couches to make up the sleeping maximum. There are 5 bedrooms with king beds, and 1 with a bunk/double/trundle combination, great for the kids. We stayed at the end of a long, busy season and the house was looking a bit 'shop worn'. Hopefully, the off season can be used for a couple days of sprucing up and going over, and this place will be amazing.
