**DOGS CONSIDERED**

This lovely, spacious 2-story 2500 sq. ft. home is an ideal setup for 2 families! Located on the beautiful West Shore, walking distance to Hurricane Bay beach, bike path.

Home features lovely open concept floor plan. Entry level includes great room with comfortable seating, wood burning stove (wood provided in winter only), and smart TV, well appointed kitchen with a grand dining table for all 8 guests to gather for meals or games comfortably!

All three spacious bedrooms upstairs have been recently refreshed with lovely new bedding. Master has a comfortable new King bed, new sofa, walk-in closet, and large en suite bathroom with jetted bath tub! Second room has a cozy King bed as well as a Twin bed. Third room is very spacious with a Queen bed, two twins, plus a small lounge area with new sofa, TV/DVD plus lots of games. Second full bathroom upstairs in the hall.

Lovely outdoor space with year round private hot tub, and summertime large propane BBQ.

Two car garage, plus 3-4 spaces in flat, easy access driveway. One well behaved dog welcome with advanced approval. Smoking prohibited anywhere on property.

Parking is limited to 4 spaces.

- Minimum age to rent: 25
- None of our properties have AC unless mentioned elsewhere
- Winter access: Chains or snow tires are often required in winter
- BBQs (propane) are not provided during winter (November–Memorial Day). Charcoal grills are banned in our area.
- Firewood is not supplied during the summer months (Memorial Day through October)
- Shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are not included
- Most have supplies like flour, sugar, salt & spices, but these are not guaranteed items
- We do not provide additional towels for beach use and encourage renters to bring them for summer stays
- For all dog-friendly properties, there is an additional fee of $100+tax per dog.
- Placer County STR rules: The county of Placer implemented a new Short Term Rental Ordinance which is very important for guests to abide by. Fines range from $1,500- 5,000 and can be issued to guests who are not in compliance. A full list of rules is attached as a photo in this listing.
Some Highlights include: Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. No noise shall be heard across property lines. No outdoor speakers or amplified sound are to be used at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside a property, and all pet waste must be picked up. Street parking is prohibited year-round.

Timberland stay

Excellent property, clean it’s plenty of room for 6 adults and one child. Well appointed kitchen. We had everything e needed and Hauserman Rental was very responsive when we needed to community it’s them. Their instructions for accessing the property were clear and we appreciated how they managed things. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Get Away!

Comfy Cabin

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was great. Not right on the lake, which might be what some people would like, but that worked perfectly to shield us from the wind as a storm rolled in. Still super close to the lake and just a short drive to Eagle Rock, which I highly recommend for hikers. Absolutely stunning views from the top. Also super close to town yet far enough away to really get you into the peace and tranquility of the mountains. The neighborhood is quiet and the property well kept. The house was comfy and welcoming. We had all amenities we needed and instructions were simple. Essentially, be respectful and leave the place as you found it. Easy enough. We did have an early morning visitor. Around 4 a.m. or so on our last night a bear came to the front door. I suppose some people might find that worrisome, but we found it rather exciting. The bear nudged the door and then went on its way. Besides the sounds, we had only bear prints in the snow as proof of our visitor. If that concerns you, don't worry. There is bear fencing for the front and back. Overall, we had a pleasant time and enjoyed the space. Would definitely rent again. Oh, and check in/out was super simple.

Okay, but not what we’d hoped

We had planned to barbecue & the advertised barbecue was broken. The day after we checked in the property management firm sent over a person to “fix” it. She ended up buying a new, small, table top barbecue which was adequate, but not great. The screen door was broken & therefore difficult to close from the inside as it had to be lifted into place. It was needed to keep mosquitoes out. The dogs on both sides of the property began howling (not barking-howling) at around 6 am. There was some mold in the bathrooms and the bath mats had not been washed. Otherwise, the place was adequate for the price. The property management firm did give us a partial refund for all the problems and they were responsive to our calls.

Beautiful cabin with everything you need for a family vacation!!

The Celtic Lodge is beautiful, the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds. The house has everything you need, all the way down to the kitchen utensils! We rode our bikes to Sunnyside, FireSign Cafe and Tahoe House in just a few minutes and walked to the beach (only 4 short blocks) several times. It’s very clear the owner & management company take pride in the cabin and do whatever is needed to ensure everything is in perfect working order. We will definitely be back!

Great place, Great location

Loved the house and the location. Everything was a s promised and would stay there again. Overall the only thing that kept this from being 5 star was the place should have been a little bit cleaner. Don't get me wrong, it had been cleaned and clean sheets but the floors were most likely quick swept and when I dropped something and bent to pick it up with the paper towel, it came up dirty. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The staff was very attentive and offered to send someone out but it was late so we just let them know. The management company and booking made the experience great.

A quiet location we thoroghly enjoyed.

Our place was clean and stocked with enough kitchen items to make meals when we wanted. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The kids loved the play house out back. It was quiet, roomy enough for our two families, and a great place that I wouldn't hesitate to stay in again!
