Decent stay

Located in Horw but well connected with trains to downtown Lucerne. Check in was cumbersome as it was all ‘personless’. I did not see a hotel employee in the 3 days we stayed and that felt impersonal and vague. One must have a good data plan and lots of phone battery life at all times otherwise you cannot enter the building. There is no one you can call if you are stranded out. The electronic key did not work all the time. While in the building, wifi was adequate. Parking is paid (CHF 7 per 24 h). Though coin operated, Washer/dryer facility was an advantage. Communication was via WhatsApp texting only. Rooms were comfortable and cooking/tea/coffee making equipment served our needs. Noisy at night as walls are not sound proof and street noise was disturbing until at least 1 am. Ask for Lucerne travel pass that will allow unlimited train travel in zone 10 that was enough for us. Overall, a decent stay.

Good location, small, clean room

The location is super, easy to get to Lucern downtown by car. There is also a bus stop right outside of the building as well. We are family of three. The room was smaller than expected. The small open kitchen was small but sufficient and well-equipped, but there was a notice that we should not cook something with heavy smoke or steam, as there is no ventilator so it was a bit stressful to cook. Overall the room was just too small to stay comfortably. We could hear soccer game from the field nearby in the evening (which didn't bother us) so not for someone looking for a super quite stay. Note that there is no reception in building so you need to download an App and use bluetooth to open door. Staff was helpful so spoke good English when we called.

Alles Tiptop, einzig Zugang mit Smartphone etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.... (Einrichtung für ältere Gäste evtl schwierig...)

Man muss Glück haben im Anstatthotel.

Unsere Unterkunft war super erreichbar mit dem ÖV. Im Vergleich vor ein paar Wochen hatten wir zu zweit ein Familienzimmer. Daneben war eine Familie, wo alle vier Personen herumschreiten; wir mussten die Zentrale informieren/ Der Rest der Woche war jeden Abend Im daneben liegenden Fussball- Club Training. Einmal wurde Geburtstag bis Mitternacht gefeiert; wir hatten so keine Ruhe. Ansonsten war es tagsüber ok.
