Better than a hotel
I almost booked two nights at a Hampton for $430, then found this house for about $100 less. Better choice. It felt like home, not a hotel.
In a hotel, I hang wrinkled clothes in the bathroom and hope for steam; here, BOOM! full-size washer and dryer.
In a hotel, going out to smoke means elevators, hallways, and clanging side doors; here, BOOM! step onto the back porch.
In a hotel, leftovers fight a mini-fridge; here, BOOM! full-size side-by-side with filtered water and ice.
Parking at hotels can be a mess; here, BOOM! pull straight into the driveway.
The only thing I made a face about was the credit-card charge shows as “vacation rental” which may raise an eyebrow on a business expense report…lol
Overall, more comfort and utility than a mid-range hotel for less money.
I’m booking again for my next Houston trip.
