Great location, the room was large and very clean. The personnel was very kind and helpful. Good breakfast. There is safe parking.

Hôtel bien placé et très proprte

Bon rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel très bien situé dans le centre d'Huddersfield. Très bon accueil et grande chambre impeccable.

A nice, homely stay

This is a well-placed B&B for the centre of Huddersfield. Everyone is extremely nice and the facilities are good if not bang up-to-date. the breakfast is excellent, parking very convenient and it's a nice touch to be able to bring 'takeaway' food into the hotel's conservatory to eat. We will certainly come back

Staff so friendly. Lots of room. Not good if you want ultra modern fittings but the room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect. Highly recommend this as a welcoming place to stay.

Staff were very friendly and the property is dog friendly. You can eat breakfast in the conservatory and have your dogs there. No reservation was needed for the car park..plenty of space snd very secure. Only negative is that our room was boiling even with the fan that the hotel had provided. We opened all the windows but unfortunately that meant we could hear all the street noise and the church bells chiming every 15 min.

Good but not great.

It was fine. Two issues really were the local area which appears to be largely shut down around the hotel (but very close to the university which was great) and the kind of basic stinginess - tiny ragged towels (but when you ask, lovely large bath towels are delivered), a breakfast cook who does not know how to poach an egg (we taught him) and so on. It is nice, the rooms are fine, beds are double, not queen, as advertised. My tip is that if something is wrong, they will put it right at once.
