Posted Aug. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayThe barn was in excellent condition and extremely well stocked with everything you need. Small but pretty courtyard garden. On a main road but no problem with traffic noise at night. Overall highly recommend.

Private and very comfortable barn stay
Posted Jul. 25, 2023 on HomeAwayClaire’s White Barn was beautifully presented and exactly as shown online. Very private, clean and homey feeling. Host provided additional bedding when requested and nothing was any trouble. We were able to check in earlier than planned and leave later than needed. Very accommodating of the hosts. Enjoyed the peace, and not too far from amenities. Lovely stay

A Very Accommodating Host
Posted Jun. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayWe made an error in arriving a day too early. Luckily our host was in and the barn unoccupied. We very much appreciated how accommodating Claire & Cameron were for us. The Barn is exactly as described by others and was just great. Hilton is excellently located to tour out in all directions, we visited March, Ely, Cambridge (using the Park & Ride), all easily accessible. The village itself is charming and has a Grade 1 listed church and loads of green walking space.

Comfortable village stay in central location
Posted May 3, 2023 on HomeAwayAll the way through from booking to check in and out, Claire’s communication was warm, clear and very helpful.
We had a very comfortable three nights in the White Barn which is very well equipped.
Our flight from Australia was messed around by the airline so travel time was extended.
We were very grateful to flop into the comfortable bed and Claire put in extra effort to look after our needs when the travel time lengthened.
We really appreciated the large soft towels and the tourist information leaflets and brochures provided.
The little courtyard area is lovely but the weather was too cool for us to use it.
We would highly recommend the White Barn.

Comfortable Accommodation in Quaint Village Setting
Posted Apr. 28, 2023 on HomeAwayThe Village of Hilton is very serene and the White Barn is well located for nearby visits to Ely, Cambridge etc. The owner of the property was very pleasant. However the pictures do not reveal that this Barn! is actually situated immediately next go the road that runs through the village - the bedroom being nearest the road. Unfortunately the microwave had been missed when the pre clean took place (This was rectified by the owner). Otherwise everything one needed for a comfortable stay was supplied. A local shop 100 yards away supplied us with basics. Perhaps a fresh pint of milk would have been a nice gesture.

Thanks for your review. We can confirm that The White Barn definitely is a barn! It's just that it's not a barn in a field, but in a village - there are plenty of these barns evident across Cambridgeshire villages and in Hilton itself. The White Barn overlooks gardens to the back and trees that ring the manor house. Although we are near the road, Hilton is a small village with an HGV ban and soon to be implemented 20 mile an hour limit. We're glad that you found The White Barn to be such a good location for exploring Cambridgeshire!

From the photos, the house is so beautiful and inviting.
