Avoid Knights Inn Huntsville

The washroom in my first room was dirty, toilet seat with stains and hair. I asked to switch rooms, but you still get what you pay for, mukky carpets, creaky beds. On top of that, the location is noisy, right next to the main road, so sleep was impossible. The worst part is the service. I spoke with a host named Ken and asked to speak with management. They dodged the request and refused to connect me. When I said I wanted to check out immediately due to the condition of the rooms, they said to talk to Expedia, they won't deal with it. I checked out the next morning, returned the keys, and made it clear I was leaving, only to find out later they still charged me for the second night. When I called, they admitted no one else was checked into the room, but they kept it under my name and refused to refund me. Shady business practices, dirty rooms, and rude, unhelpful staff. Never staying at a Knights Inn again, and I recommend you don’t either. Many better hotels in Huntsville that actually offer good service.

I stayed at this roadside motel for a quick stop 2 days. Overall, it’s a decent budget-friendly option, but there are a few things worth noting. The room was clean and check-in was quick and on time, which I appreciated. However, the bed was not made on next day during my stay — maybe that’s standard policy. Also, one of the lights was flickering, which was a bit annoying, and the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t strong enough to watch sports. That said, if you’re looking for a clean and affordable place to rest for a night or two, this motel gets the job done.

easy check in, however the toilet wasn't working properly and the TV wasn't working properly, however, after walking to the office and speaking directly with a staff member, they came back to the room to resolve the deficiencies in the room. we only stayed one night. smoking outside the room is allowed with large smoking butt pails. so if you prefer the smell of clean air, keep this in mind. they are also a pet friendly hotel, so keep in mind the sound of dogs potentially barking. this is across from the river so a nice view. staff are pleasant and accessible to resolve any issues.

Room was just ok, bed was clean and comfortable which is the main thing. Bathroom linens were old and stained but clean. Bathroom is in need of a good clean but was clean enough. Everything seemed worn and run down but ok for the price point.
