Meget fint og hyggeligt hotel med rolig atmosfære. Meget høj kvalitet i Restauranten både i forhold til maden og til servicen. Udover en vin menu kan man også vælge en saft menu, som jeg ville anbefale andre at prøve.

Falsk reklame

Vi synes ikke at hotellet lever op til beskrivelsen og billederne på deres hjemmeside. Hotellet ligger lige ved siden af en larmende togstation. Udover det lå vores værelse på 1.sal over morgenmadsrestauranten, så tidligt om morgenen blev vi vækket til lyden af stole det blev skubbet rundt på gulvet. I receptionen var der en dør ind til køkkenet, som de hele tiden havde åben, hvilket gjorde at alt madlugten røg direkte op på 1. Sal, hvor vi havde værelse. De sælger sig selv som et moderne hotel, men på værelset var der hverken køleskab, aircondition eller andet moderne luksus. Hotel Tinggården sælger lidt sig selv som at være et spahotel og det er falsk reklame. Yderligere er det dårlig service at de tager overpris for indgangsbilletterne til Syd-Thy kurbad. Det eneste positive ved opholdet var deres mad, både til aftensmad og morgenmad.

Hyggelig ophold i Thy

Hotel Thinggården er et hyggeligt hotel med en charmerende placering foran togstationen. Vi var et par kollegaere som skulle ha et par overnatninger og vi fik nogle hyggelige værelse vendt ud mod vejen. Heldigvis var der et lille forrum, som virkede som en for form for entre til vores værelser.. Dette rum passede perfekt som mødelokale for os.

Formelt ok, men for god ordens skyld...

Meget hyggeligt mindre hotel med venligt serviceminded personale. Et par ting irriterer lidt. Første aften bestilte jeg 3 forretter, men fik i stedet 2 forretter og en hovedret. Regningen lød på det sidste, hvilket formelt er ok, men føles lidt dumt. Anden aften var der længerevarende strømafbrydelse, hvilket man selvklart ikke kan klandre nogen. Vi havde bestilt en forret og en hovedret, og fik i ventetiden tilbudt et par små snacks, hvilket også kom på regningen. Det burde vi være blevet informeret om - for god ordens skyld. Da strømmen kom igen, fik vi serveret som de sidste af gæsterne - selvom vi var kommet som nogle af de første i restauranten.

Min. en stjerne for meget

Værelser alt for slidte, lister om vinduer ej malet, senge for bløde, skabe for gamle/grimme, tapet ved at falde ned, toiletdør har vandskader måske fordi bruser ikke kunne lukkes for, lugtede virkeligt gammelt. Gangområder så nussede/beskidte ud, men muligt det bare var alderdom. Prisen alt for høj og min. en stjerne for meget.
