Welcome to our cottage by the ocean. Don't just imagine sitting on the deck with a chilled glass of wine while the sun goes down, experience it! Relax at the end of your day by dining al fresco. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves and the smell of the ocean.
Situated on Middle Point Cove, five minutes from world-famous Peggy's Cove, our one-level cottage includes a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, bath with walk-in shower, Wi-Fi, and queen beds in each of two bedrooms (sheets and towels provided). A great location for a your stay.

La maison est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Rien ne manque. À 5 minutes en voiture de Peggy's cove et d'une pĂȘcherie. Un dĂ©panneur Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied ainsi qu'un restaurant sympathique. Les couchers de soleil sont exceptionnels. La route passe prĂšs de la maison, cependant elle est peu achalandĂ©e le soir.

Tranquilité, beauté et bien situé

La propriĂ©taire est extrĂȘmement sympathique et a rĂ©pondu rapidement Ă  chacune de nos quelques interrogations. Le site est absolument magnifique et oui, les couchers de soleil valent Ă  eux seuls l’emplacement. Confort assurĂ© avec un souci du dĂ©tail pour la dĂ©coration rendent le cottage pratique et chaleureux. Suggestions: des barres Ă  serviettes supplĂ©mentaires, dans la salle de bain ou derriĂšre les portes de chambre, permettraient de faire sĂ©cher nos serviettes de bain et de plage sans utiliser la sĂ©cheuse (plus Ă©conomique et Ă©cologique). Aussi, s’il y avait des assiettes et bols pour 8 au lieu de 4, cela Ă©viterait d’utiliser le lave-vaisselle Ă  moitiĂ© vide juste parce qu’on manque de couverts pour le repas suivant (plus Ă©cologique et Ă©coĂ©nergĂ©tique lĂ  aussi).

Great location! This home is clean and comfy- Deb is a wonderful host and we settled in with plenty of time to enjoy a gorgeous sunset. The cottage is thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. And it is a perfect location for day trips along the South Shore.

The location was perfect! The cottage was great, and was equipped with things we thought we would have to buy when we got there like tissues etc. There was even a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates!My only negative was comment would be the TV, should provide more detailed instructions as it was more complicated than what we were used to at home.This was our first VRBO stay and will definitely use this as an option to hotels on any future vacations.

The Best!

When you walk into the house, there is a chalkboard sign in the kitchen reading “Welcome Home”. It truly says it all.The house is spacious, well decorated, very comfortable and welcoming. Everything you want when traveling, including a washer/dryer.The location was ideal for visiting Peggy’s Cove, Halifax and the must see historical town of Lunenburg. Oh, and the sunsets “at home”

Happy Harbour Home

A beautifully decorated home in picturesque surroundings. We had everything we needed
towels, kitchenware, patio furniture, etc. to make our time in Indian Harbour perfect. The views and the sounds of waves crashing on nearby rocks and the bouy bell in the distance were everything we hoped they would be. The hostess was readily available if we had questions. Shore front delight!

My 22-y-o granddaughter joined me for her first trip out of the US. I chose this cottage for its proximity to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and the rocky coast. It was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room, very comfortable, well-supplied kitchen, excellent WiFi, and beautiful walks. The owners responded immediately and helpfully to a mechanical issue. Loved every minute!

Our stay at Deb and Rico’s property was everything we hoped for and more. The house was lovely, clean and comfortable and the location was perfect as a base to explore Nova Scotia. I would stay here again without hesitation!
