Stay in this truly one-of-a-kind historic gem located a short three blocks from downtown Greenfield. Recently recognized by the Greenfield Historic Landmarks Organization, and awarded the “2021 Residential Preservation Award,” this beautiful late 1800’s wooden frame home is located on Main Street and only a short stroll to all Downtown Greenfield has to offer.

Enjoy the entire downstairs of this completely upgraded home featuring all original wood flooring and carefully selected beautiful antique furniture pieces and locally themed art. Sit back and flip through one of the many Indiana or Greenfield historical books or enjoy the relaxing challenge one of the many jigsaw puzzles available. Updated with all your modern luxuries; including 3 flat screen TV's (with streaming services included) and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Prepare a home cooked meal in the fully updated kitchen including a professional 8 burner gas stove, dishwasher, Crockpot, InstaPot, Ninja blender, toaster oven, toaster, and Keurig or French press coffee makers. Fully stocked, including all dinnerware, flatware, pots/pans, and cooking utensils for your convenience. A full size washer and dryer is available to use during your stay, with laundry detergent and fabric softener provided.

A king bed in the master bedroom and daybed in the second bedroom comfortably accommodate 3 adults. If needed, there is also a full-size queen self-inflating air mattress available for your stay, easily accommodating 1 - 2 additional adults. Fully stocked with ample clean towels and bedding (including extra pillows) for up to 5 guests.

Logged in and ready to watch on all three flat screen TV’s, enjoy Hulu, ESPN+, Disney, and Netflix streaming services.

In addition to the fully appointed kitchen, you can always find a good time to grill out. Enjoy grilling on the propane grill in the partially fenced in backyard under the shade of our large oak tree.

Take full advantage of Indiana’s (mostly) beautiful weather while enjoying the short three-block stroll on Main Street to downtown Greenfield. Holding a little something for everyone from shops and restaurants to breweries and outdoor entertainment venues. Snag a guaranteed great breakfast at the legendary Lincoln Square Pancake House or a quick bite and brew at local favorites Griggsby’s Station or Wooden Bear Brewing Company, enjoying that small town Indiana charm. With the 14.5-mile Pennsy Trail located just steps away, take a short stroll over to the recently completed “Depot Street Park.” This recently completed 1.3-acre urban park in downtown Greenfield draws several connections to Greenfield’s history of railroad transportation. The park features railroad-themed swings and train car wheel rolling picnic tables, tons of open space and cafe tables mixed into the open grassy area, with The Depot restaurant just next door. Clean and uncluttered. I was hoping we'd have clear access the to front porch, but we did not. We did not have a pet, but the back yard is only partially fenced. Upstairs neighbor was very quiet. We'd stay here again, but alas, the property is for sale and that may not be possible.

Perfect Location for Indy Visit

My wife and I traveled with our 2 dogs and required a property that was away from the big city. This was perfect! Exactly as advertised. Greenfield is a lovely town and we enjoyed it and it's restaurants. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was super. Easy commute to Indy. Our dogs enjoyed walking the beautiful neighborhood and the historic Pennsky trail. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Wonderful Time!

We came down to view the eclipse. The location of this property was perfect, as we could walk to downtown and all the festivities. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay in the cute town of Greenfield!

Great stay

Very clean house with everything I needed and more. Very old house that has been wonderfully redone. Very quiet neighborhood that is close enough to walk to several eateries. Also close to Pennsy Trail, which is a nice and wide paved walking/biking path. If I ever find myself in Greenfield again, I hope to stay here! Thanks!

Well appointed self catering unit as good or better as those we’ve stayed with in Ireland and Scotland. Most any appliances you could find a need for and wonderful kitchen setup for cooks. We were very pleased with these accomodations.

Check in nightmare

They wouldn’t send us check in info until one hour before time. We are senior citizens and like to know what’s coming up before we arrive. We were on the road and had trouble finding correct info. We tried to connect the owner and never did get a reply. The house was as pictured and clean.

Ideal place for a weekend trip

It was a little difficult to find at first, our maps app took us a block further but we found it. We stayed for the weekend as our son had a wedding in Knightstown - about 20 minutes away. Place was clean and very accommodating. Nice little touch with dog bowls and treats for our fur baby. Walked to lunches and browsed downtown Greenfield when we could. We would rent again !

Historic home

The property was very clean and well-supplied for a comfortable stay. It’s a little hard to locate at night but once you learn the neighborhood it’s fine. We rested very well and unlike other reviews, didn’t find the street traffic bothersome at all. I would definitely make this a repeat visit.

Beautifully Renovated House

This house is a beautifully renovated house with all the modern features. They did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable. They even provided treats for our dog. We loved being within walking distance of several restaurants, and we loved how charming downtown Greenfield is.

Overall it was a great property. Close to town, very well taken care of and clean. Nice bed that smelled wonderful! Its a pier and beam house, something to keep in mind. Only thing negative i can think of was the shower was kinda small but other than that it was one of the cleaniest well taken care of properties ive ever been to. Wish my house was this clean!

Very clean, but loud

The house was super clean. Just as described inside. Located on a main road with large trucks passing all night long and older windows that don’t keep noise out. Multi rental unit and people in upstairs unit were loud all night. Surrounding area questionable. Contact info for property owner was incorrect. Will not return.

Our Indiana Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts have taken the time to make the home a warm and welcoming place for their guests. Little touches going the extra mile to make guest feel at home. Our trip had a few unexpected turns including a trip and overnight stay at the hospital. The location was close to the hospital, grocery stores, restaurants, and nice little shops on Main Street. Beautiful home!

Very nice historic home! Very clean, comfortable beds, good neighborhood and convenient. We accidentally locked our selves out late at night and Mike came to our rescue in a hurry. We will rent from them again!
