The rooms are too small and the AC is not working well. But in totality, the staffs are very kind, friendly and accommodating..

I loved it! They helped me even though my Japanese isn't too good, and even had free snack service the night I arrived. Also good price! For whatever reason you need to go to Gunma, I recommend staying here.

Our go to Isesaki Hotel

This is our go-to hotel when visiting my wife's family. Hotel room and bed are small compared to American standards, but this seems to be pretty common throughout Japan (but you can find larger). Staff is friendly but doesn't always speak English. We get the breakfast almost every day we stay here, but you need to buy it a day in advance so don't forget. Pillows are much harder than I like, so I just use a down coat inside of the pillowcase as a makeshift soft pillow. Bed *just* big enough for myself (6") and my wife (5'1").

Pleasant and simple

It was a pleasant stay. Very reasonable price. The only negative feedback is that tge housekeeping forgot to clean our room on the 2nd day of our stay.
