This is a nice hotel near Shishane metro and Galata area. Facilities are nice and staff is very helpful. It has a nice view of mosques and bosphorus. Very Nice breakfast is provided. Only downside is standard rooms are on the smaller side and can be noisy sometimes when you are on second floor. Bilal and Hassan were very helpful an great.

Oh my Gosh! We absolutely LOVED our three days at Doruk Palace Hotel! Muhammed and his team impressed us even before our arrival, as they communicated about airport transport & potential activities. They were articulate & responsive & eased any pre-arrival angst. Upon arrival, we were greeted graciously, enjoying cappucino & conversation, getting all of our logistical questions answered. Our rooms were perfect, clean, efficient & quiet. The team of Ali, Ghufran & Hassan each made a personal impact on the quality of our stay. This team made Doruk Palace one of our favorite stays throughout our 3 week trip! Anyone visiting Istanbul& desiring a walkable experience near Golata Tower, Istankul St & the bridge to the Old City

We had the standard room which was a little tight especially the bathroom but for the price it was acceptable. I would opt for an upgrade next time. Location was good, very accessible to Galata tower, public transport and shopping. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel - excellent location, close to nightlife and shops but a quiet side street. Perfect combination As other reviews suggest, the staff are outstanding - great hospitality and lots of helpful advice on what to visit and how to make the most of public transport. Really genuine hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here. Surprised that someone suggested there was pressure to review - there is absolutely no hard selling at this hotel, which we liked. We opted to pay a little extra for the room with a view and it was worth it for the view and the extra space Breakfast is also pretty good - fresh baked goods, hot dishes that vary daily and selection of vegetarian dips, and some sliced meat and cheeses. We’d certainly look to stay here again if visiting Istanbul and would recommend to friends. Thanks to Bilal and the team for a wonderful stay

Would absolutely recommend, our stay was amazing! Every single staff member was so kind and helpful, the facility was clean and well kept, and the breakfast was great. Location is very close to Galata tower, and not far from public transportation to get to other tourist sites, but a bit off the beaten path. Well worth it for the hospitality though!

Best hotel staff I ever encounter during my travel. Especially Ghofran who helped us in a locating a lot of things, she was exceptional. I will have to mention the manager Mohamed that went above and beyond, he even got my husband a gift for his birthday that coincided at the time of our stay. Also Ahmed who was welcoming and the friendliest when we checked in. My hat to all of them and my thanks for making our journey wonderful.

We booked a room for 3 people and the extra bed is broken, it collapses when we sit on it. It seems like one of us will sleep on the floor tonight as I have just been told that the hotel is fully booked and they don’t have a room to move us to… Fun. We spent one night here, arriving early in the morning. They were so welcoming and were able to get us in our room early. They also graciously offered breakfast to us when we arrived. It is a wonderful spot and if we’re back in the area we’ll stay again.
