It was pretty property, quite old fashioned and fits in with the vibes of the area. There was an unpleasant strong smell from the bathroom but found that in many places in Istanbul so that wasn’t too great - perhaps to do with plumbing in Istanbul in general?. The view out the window was pretty nice though. It’s a decent hotel, mostly clean. Was really there to sleep and explore the city, decent price. Expect what you pay for. Staff were polite enough and eager to help.

Quirky, quiet, clean with friendly staff. Very close to all the tourist sites and transport.

It was just an OK trip. Since we had luggage the room we reserved was not given to us. We had reserved a room with sea view in the fourth floor, but we were asked to climb a very very narrow stairs for 5 flights, which was not possible. So we had to settle for a smaller room in the first floor. Being an inferior room we should be getting a partial refund at least. Also the room which we reserved for $70+ from US, was listed for $32 on hotels.com website itself, when we reached there. Still we were charged in full. The pictures shown on their website is old. The furnitures were very very old. The bathroom had good and fine fittings. Air conditioner was fine and good. Breakfast was good enough though very same repeated over and over again. No drinking water was provided. The tour contacts from the hotel desk was good. And they arranged good taxi service for good price.

It would be wrong to compare the price of the cheapest room on the ground floor with the most expensive room.In our hotel, we offer free water and coffee to our guests 24 hours a day.Your complaints are all wrong.Kind Regards

I would go back and stay at this hotel. Very close to major attractions and the waterfront. Spoilt for choice when it comes to local restaurants.

Total Disappointment

Staff didn't speak much english, so a lot of misunderstandings. Room was not cleaned everyday. We took garbage out twice. Told them my bathroom lamp was broken and they never fixed it. They arranged for an english speaking Aqva tour, and the tour guide didn't speak one word of english. They took us in a raggedy van that was dirty and had the side door broken. Driver didn't give us any information. I felt robbed. On top of it, they dropped us off very far from the hotel and one of us had problems walking. I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone. I feel we deserve to be reimbursed.

The staff was superb! They were kind, friendly, and very accomodating. They made our stay at this hotel very pleasant.
