The hotel staffs are very welcoming, the reception team are very helpful and respectful and smiley too , the cleaning staff really helpful specially the lady from Uzbekistan. Also we need to thank the Chief for the lovely breakfast.

(1) The staff was friendly, however please be careful as you can be scammed easily by the restaurant service recommended by their staff. On my arrival which was almost midnight, I was hungry and asked for recommendations for something to eat nearby. I was told the hotel provides a free pick up and drop-off service to a restaurant which provides fresh food. So after they took me to the restaurant called BEYAZ TURIZM TURKEY, I was provided with a really expensive menu and their staff was trying to sell me lobster for the price of £136 and some drink which was equivalent to £150 total for a meal for one person. I said no I don't want a lobster then he recommended a fish and I was not able to say no in case they do not drop me back to my hotel as it was my first day in Istanbul and it was late as well. So I had to agree and the total price I paid for the fish was £49 which is really an expensive price for a one person meal in Istanbul. The food quality was not great and it tasted so pale. (2) The hotel do not allow any guests even though I booked it for 2 people as my friend wanted to come and see me whilst I was there. (3) Breakfast was good but its same stuff everyday which I had to eat for 5 days of my stay. (4) The toilet is not well maintained and some repair work is required. (5) Location is ok and you have to walk a lot of up and down hill. (6) Staff helped me with an app called in drive for taxi as I was scammed by taxi driver on my first day.

Like I've said previously, the staff is what makes this hotel more homely. Jihaan, Abu bakr, kasray and even the cleaning staff were very helpful. The hotel is a standard 3 star at best. You get what you pay for. The only thing I would say that needs improving is the breakfast. The eggs are limited to boiled eggs and scrambled eggs (when they can be bothered to make scrambled eggs). Decent clean rooms, old decor and humble layout.
