Yanlış hatırlamıyorsam 405 numaralı odada kaldık. Odada yoğun bir gider kokusu vardı, klima küflüydü ve genel olarak oldukça bakımsızdı. Yatağın üzerindeki hardal renkli battaniye hijyen açısından bizi çok rahatsız etti; ayrıca büyük yastıkların üzerinde salyaya benzeyen lekeler bulunuyordu. Odada 3 kız arkadaş kaldık ve kesinlikle memnun değildik. İstanbul’a gezmeye geldiğimiz için sadece uyumak amacıyla kullanıp mecburen idare ettik.

We were so pleased with our stay at The Wilson Galata Hotel in Istanbul. It is perfectly located at a minute walk from the famous Galata Tower and its lovely district, and still on such a calm and safe side street. The room was large for Istanbul standards, and beautifully renovated. The staff was so kind and polite, always helpful. The free morning tea was delightful. The location is outstanding, at walking distance to everything (bridge, Galata Tower, shopping, restaurants, Taksim square, street Tram, subway, ferry, etc). Next time we come to Istanbul, there is no need to look for another hotel, we will for sure come back to this hotel.

Best place in the old city. Step out the door, look right and see Galata Tower. Cozy, quaint, 24 hour reception, coffee shop in lobby, plenty of hot water, big room, lots within easy walking distance, helpful staff, two markets in same block. Would absolutely stay there again.
