There is a huge inconvenience when it comes to check in time and check out. I am an international frequent traveler that have been to mulyltiple hotels all over the world. I have never bern to a hotel where the check in is at 8pm and check out at 9am with option to pay 20 euro per hour for earlier check in or check out. All hotels in the world standardized check in is 3 or 4pm and check out varies between 10am and 12pm. The stay is not cheap either for the night, but this messed up corrupt check in and check out system reflects corruption at its highest levels and financial abuse of the fact that this is an airport hotel. This policy needs to be replaced with standardized check in and check out times that matches international standardized check in and check out times in most international hotels over the world. The hotel itself is clean and nice. The receprionist was argumentative when the above was brought to her attention. She should be better trained to deal with international travelers complaints.

We had a long layover in Istanbul and it was fabulous to be able to stay in a little room with a bed, bathroom and shower rather than sitting at the gate. And we didn’t have to go through security again, which was even better. Very sweet lady showed us to our room and gave us slippers. Highly recommend.

It was a cabin within the transfer area of Istabul airport. It was smal, which I knew. But what i didn't know, it was not en-suite. Also my cabin and 5 others were right by reception. You could here the gug checking in people all night. Being an airport, people were checking in at all times. Also you had to pay for a shower if you wanted one The room was very clean and modern though.

We had a connection flight from Istanbul to Los Angeles with a 15 hour layover, so i booked this property in Advanced. Our flight the next day was at 8:00am, so staying outside the airport would not be convenient. Our flight arrived at 530pm and check in was not available until 8:00pm, but the hotel accommodated us when i arrived at 6Pm. There were many signs to the Yotel Airside inside the airport, but it is a long walk (15 min) to the hotel. The man who helped us was very nice and our room (Premium King) was very clean and also smelled so good. I opted to pay the 45 € (About $50) each for their lounge access as it was 24 hours, but there are better options outside the terminal. The food is okay, but when you are tired and want to sleep, this is an option. The room was spacious and very clean. I really liked the mood lighting and the TV screen also shows the depature flights. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. Just to point out, it is a bit pricey, but worth it for me for the convenience. The total i paid was about $400 USD which included taxes, but there are transient hotels outside the airport terminal as low as $62 USD. The check in time was 8pm and check out is 12am, so that is 12 hours for $400. For this convenience, you dont have to deal with transportation to the airport, checking it, going through security or immigration again, just walk to the terminal (15 min). I will continue to use Yotel the next time i have a long layover.

A perfect place to get a good night's sleep before a long bout of travel. The rooms are clean, the water pressure in the shower is perfect; there are plenty of towels and electric outlets; drinking water is also available in the room.
