Cozy Townhouse; Close to Military Bases & Beaches

You will feel at home in this newly renovated, fully equipped 2-bedroom townhouse in a quiet neighborhood on the New River. The second-floor deck off the master bedroom is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or a toast at day's end, with a hint of a water view.

The master bedroom features a queen bed, with 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. Kitchen appliances, including a dishwasher, are stainless.
If the weather isn't conducive to walking, you can burn a few calories on the stationary bike.

This home is in a quiet neighborhood of attached homes directly on the New River. A public park features a playground, basketball and tennis courts. The neighborhood also benefits from the adjacent managed open space. The nearby Sturgeon City Environmental Education Center highlights the wetlands restoration of the Wilson Bay Initiative. Walk the boardwalk trails, visit the playground, picnic areas, and kayak launch while learning about the local wildlife.
This home is 1 mile from the historic center of Jacksonville, 6 miles from the Camp Lejeune Main Gate, and 14 miles from the Albert C. Ellis Airport.

There is a one-time cleaning fee that will be included in your reservation at the time of charging.

PET POLICY
We welcome all well-behaved pets to accompany their owners in certain units for an additional fee of $50 per stay.

● Any damaged or missing items by you or your guests discovered in your accommodations, as a result of your stay, will be assessed and billed accordingly to your credit card.

Good Neighbor Policy

● Please be courteous to our neighbors. Our neighborhood is known for feeling private and quiet- just like a retreat.
● Please do not use water access for fishing/exploring across the street on our neighbors' properties. They do have cameras and expressed that this is private property. There are public water access points within walking distance for your use.
● Profanity or violence will not be tolerated. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave.

We stayed here for an extended weekend to visit our son in the marine corps. The house was neat, modern, clean and cozy. The owners had books, board games, outdoor games, indoor games, TV, DVD's, a fire pit, and a Playstation 3. Plenty for the whole family to do. The owners were attentive to our needs, texted a few times to make sure we had all that we needed, but also were not overbearing and gave us plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. We would definitely consider staying with them again

The toys for our 5 year old made packing much easier. And pet friendly was an understatement because there were bowls and treats ready to go for her. Arrived late evening, had some miscommunication on accessing the property prior to arriving. Information was quickly re-sent prior to arriving. Place was spacious, resembled the pictures accurately. Only had 1 trash bag available for a 7 day stay. And the outside container was quite full. Sunsets from the upper deck were nice. Neighborhood was quiet an felt safe.

What a blessing

This was a great place to stay. Having the stuff there for kids made it very convenient when our nephews came for a little bit. Kitchen was well stocked, owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Check-in was extremely easy. We will be staying here again next time we come to visit

Good location!

The house was as described and convenient with a good location. The air and ceiling fans were perfect for the heat, and the multiple TVs and bathrooms was a plus. The check in worked perfectly, and it was great to just easily come in after a long journey and be able to rest. There is a washer and dryer for convenience but they are very loud so prepare to do your laundry during the day. Also, the bathroom upstairs has a squeaky fan, so again be mindful of the noise and neighbors. My only suggestion would be to bring your own towels as they provide them, but they are a bit worn. Also, plan to bring extra toilet paper if it is a longer stay as they only provide a few rolls. They did provide a blow dryer as well as extra toiletries and laundry detergent & softener, which was awesome. Overall, it was a good stay.

We were in town for the Marine Corps Half and loved staying here! Beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing I could have asked for was less rain! We got to enjoy the deck for a short time our last morning there. We look forward to our next stay!

We came to Jacksonville for our two granddaughter's birthday celebration. This location was perfect for us, it was easy to get to, and it had everything that we needed and more. Loved the recommendations that were left for local restaurants! The location is ready for families or a couple looking to get away for a couple of days! We will be back!!!

Beautiful get away in North Carolina

This stay away from home was the most magical experience I’ve had in awhile. The house was gorgeous and spacious for me and finance and the views from every window were happy and inviting. The house itself had all the necessary amenities and was very comfortable. It was only me and my fiancĂ© and we stayed for 3 nights but I will definitely plan to come here again if we are back in town. It’s near camp lejunee about 20 minute drive and also 20 minutes to the airport and the best beach. Lots of great breakfast joints 5 minutes away and awesome spots for shopping as well. Thank you so much!

Family Favorite

New River Retreat was a sweet space for our family of 4. It was clean and so family friendly. Our 8 year old loved the basketball hoops and the gaming system. We all enjoyed the board games. The small details were my favorite, it made it a great space to wake up and get ready for our day and to come back in the evening to enjoy winding down our day together. I loved how open it was, but also had space upstairs if someone wanted time alone. It was a super easy drive to beautiful North Topsail Beach. The hosts were so accommodating and had information all in one area of the house.

Wonderful Rental

We had a great trip and would not hesitate to rent this condo again. The hosts communicate quickly and are extremely thoughtful!! The home is clean and filled with little "extras" that you may forget or to just feel comfortable.... comfortable beds, bedding, natural soaps, sprays, cleansers, TONS of games, well stocked kitchen .. The location is perfect, whether shopping, exploring, or using the beach!!
