The elevator was not working. No one bothered to let us know until we arrived at the property to check in. They said they would refund our money if we did not want to walk up the stairs to our room. It had not been working for about 2 months and it would be another couple of weeks before it was back in service.

We have been contacting guests if we have their correct information. Due to the way your reservation was made we did not have your information on file, so we do apologize. The elevator has been down only a month due to the motor being burnt up due to a power transformer being destroyed. We have to let the professionals do their job to get the elevator up and running. We greatly appreciate your comments and hope to see you again soon.
