It is located on a coveted, quiet beachside street at 4 Bliss Lane. Enjoy a relaxing vacation at this beautiful, CLEAN cottage nestled in a shady grove of majestic live oaks just steps from the beach! Perfect beach house

Just steps from the beach access on Bliss Lane, Blissful Oaks was a great long weekend getaway. Great value for whole house, well stocked and super cool laid back vibe. Well located on Jekyll Island. We plan to stay again on our next visit to the Golden Isles.

Beautiful older home that has been remodeled and updated but still has some vintage charm with the fireplace and built ins. Love the house and would recommend. It was a lovely home and very comfortable for 2 families. Would rent again.

We love this house!

This is our second time renting this property. We love it. It is the perfect layout for our family. Please note that the beach access at the end of Bliss Lane is closed. A storm took out the stairs so you will have to go to walk to the next street down.

Wonderful time at Blissful Oaks

We came to Jekyll for a wedding and Blissful Oaks was the perfect place to stay. Steps to the beach and the home itself was even better than pictured. Definitely recommend this home!

Blissful Blessings

We had a very nice stay at Blissful Oaks. The property was well maintained and the management company was very responsive and accomodating. We didn't quite understand the tide schedule and that caught us off guard a few times. The tide truly washes up the board walk steps and the beach is not accessible during those times. Accessible areas are just a few minutes drive away. The master bedroom does not have air conditioning, which was not a big issue for us in May, but would be a strong consideration during hotter months. Overall we felt very comfortable in this relaxing well stocked house and thought that the price was quite reasonable, too.

Lovely house near beautiful beach

We loved our stay in this house. It is attractive, comfortable, and well-equipped, in a quiet tree-lined neighborhood, and access to the beautiful beach is just down the street.

Relaxing, quiet and fun

The property was really nice, had a charm to it but was still modern where it needed to be. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, crockery and cuttlery. Just steps from the beach made this one a perfect location. The main village was just minutes by car and the island is also perfect for cycling. The beaches were great - ideal for our two young kids (8 and 6) who we could let explore without the need to be constantly watching them. Good food was close by - Wee Pub and Driftwood Bistro being very good (although long waits). Jekyll Realty were very efficient and also very helpful in helping me retrieve a lost wedding ring for which I'm so grateful. We'll almost certainly be back!

This is a quaint, quirky 50’s cottage that is on a quiet street that will soon have beach access at the end of the street. The cleanliness could have been better (but that is on the rental agents). The en-suite shower door is broken, so it was not usable. Our first night, a huge, heavy oak limb fell, barely missing our car. The hours for stores were a bit frustrating, closing early so we couldn’t get ice cream after 6pm. Overall, we had great weather, and nice relaxing time.

Great place for a family stay!

Our stay was great! The size and location was perfect. The house could have been a bit cleaner, but it was fine. There wasn’t enough TP for our stay but we bought some. Would have been nice to have known it wasn’t included, but we’ll know for next time. No big deal. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We may try to stay there again next year!
