Two Great Days on Pine Creek and the Rails to Trail
The location of the property was just as pictured and just as stunning. The check in was a breeze. The place was very clean and the kitchen well stocked for cooking. The wifi was great and needed since cell service is spotty at best. Enjoyed that the entrance to the bike trail was right in the back yard. We rode the trail, made dinner and spent our evening taking a dip in the creek and sitting by the banks with a drink watching the moon rise. A great few days. We will be back.
Great natural setting, lots of wild life and tons of green landscape. Very peaceful, the creek was clear, gentle but rocky. The kitchen was recently updated with a cool cement counter, and modern backsplash. The bath shower is very new too! The rest is decorated with rustic touches and very homey. What I wish I knew before going: There is NO cell service in the region. All of the businesses use WiFi, and the house has Wi-Fi, but you will have no cell service between destinations. There are biting black flies and Off does not work. Bring Skin So Soft! Also, bring some Off Backyard spray. Buy all of your paper products and bring them with (Towels, toilet paper, tissues, napkins, plates, etc.)
This place is a gem! Very comfy, has everything you need! Fishing and rail trail right there! Pine creek was so relaxing watching the variety of birds/waterfowl.
The cabin was clean and very well equipped. Right on the creek with amazing views. Right along the rail trail for your walking/biking needs. Highly recommend
Booked the cabin to do an online course for work. Cabin was so cozy sitting right on the river. Evenings out by the fire pit looking up at the stars. Location was amazing. The Pine Creek Valley is a little hidden gem.
We arrived to a quaint cabin right on Pine Creek. Just steps from the creek. Our temperatures were from 20 to minus 2 while there, but we were so cozy inside with a fire going and relaxing. The view from the back of the house was beautiful. The creek was snow covered and most was frozen. I am sure it is tons of fun in the spring, summer, and fall. There are plenty of Kayaks to use. Also tubbing would be nice for kids and adults. The rail trail is near by. I am sure fishing would be great. The partially covered deck is huge. Lots of seating. We cooked out on the Weber grill even in the cold. The kitchen has everything a cook would like, plus itâs well stocked. Living area is very comfortable. We were able to bring our two pups and enjoyed long walks everyday. Doug and Marci (the owners) were always quick to answer any questions we had. Canât wait to come back.
The property is well maintained and cozy. Everything you need for a quiet getaway. Right along the Rails to Trails and Pine Creek. Our communication with the host was promptly answered. Our only issue was lack of cell service, and itâs only because we had to make some important calls during our time there. WIFI worked well.
We enjoyed a white Christmas in this rustic cabin, which the host furnished with interesting antiques and historical pieces. The cabin was warm despite the frigid outdoors. The kitchen and bathroom were well furnished. The Pine Creek Gorge bike trail runs in front of the property and is a great way to explore the villages and beauty of the gorge.
This is an absolutely beautiful cabin, so cozy, so well stocked with everything you could possibly need, with amazing views - we loved loved loved this home.
