Clean, large rooms at a very good price. Within walking distance of a new shopping mall. Good view from room looking across the strait. Bed was way too hard, making sleeping difficult. The next day we both had sore shoulders, hips and backs. Ironically this meant we had to stay in our room to recover, sitting up on the hard bed and waiting until we limbered up enough to walk.

When I arrived, I asked the receptionist if there are any rooms available for the night. He told me straight face ''sorry we are fully booked out''... I recalled earlier, before I went to the hotel, I have checked on Expedia site, that there were still rooms available. Then I walked outside the hotel and check again on Expedia. I saw there were rooms available, so I booked it and paid for it online. Then after receiving the confirmation, I return to the reception and told the receptionist that I have a booking and showed my booking number. The receptionist immediately change his tone and told me he could still get me a room, but they are over booked. A liar.

The room was okay but breakfast place is dirty and the breakfast menu was really basic. They even served nasi lemak & bihun bungkus? Terrible

Live up to its name

This hotel location is right by the straits so you can literally have a view at Singapore across it. I believe it has undergone some uplift so the hotel condition is really good. The room is also spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is tasty although not too many options are given but we're contented enough. They also deliver a newspaper to you in your preferred language in the morning (Which is rare in this price range) and it's so easy to park here if you're driving. With all of the above being said, I've made a rebook with this hotel for our next visit to Legoland because it's only a 15 minutes drive there.

Just good compare to price.

Cheap and clean. But, noisy during the night. Because this hotel is located just beside the 4 lanes way. And, I stayed at end of ground floor. WIFI was not able to use. But, I could accept all about these. Because the price was so cheap!

Friendly staff and peaceful stay

It was nice staying here, big, nice rooms, clean sheets. Neat place and friendly staff. Just below there is food. Good parking and near to city square.

Friendly staff, neat and well-located place.

The front office was very good, check in was smooth. The room is nice and spacious. Nice parking. We loved the place and will visit again with family and friends. TV channels has kids friendly and news channel. There is little fish aquarium breakfast was good and sumptuous. The suggestion is to add baked beans and some options for vegetarians. In all value for money and happy customer.

Just an OK hotel

Hotel is ok for just a night stay or so or for people without family. Facility and room is run down.Windows are not really soundproof and traffic from highway adjacent to the hotel can be bothering. Nice view away from city with eateries nearby.

You could do a lot worse

It was as expected. You get what you pay for. The hotel staff were really good, please and thank you go a long way in Malaysia. but the hotel is old and tired. Never the less it was perfect for me. Location also was good. 10/12 rm to JB central in a cab. If your looking for somewhere that is not in town, quiet you have found it
