The property is beautiful and so is the condo. There’s plenty of space, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything from basic utensils to a waffle maker. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

Our 2nd stay at Kona Coast Resort. Very nice property, quiet and very convenient. Love having 2 options for pool time and a restaurant/bar on the property is an added bonus. The Kona sunsets from this location are beautiful.

Lots of room and all items needed were available. Clean and well maintained. AC took hours to get bedrooms from 86 to 80 degrees. Bedroom temp was ok after finally getting cool. AC for living and kitchen area not adequate.

All in all it was a very pleasant stay the only exceptions was the close proximity to the road especially when the cars with loud music and loud exhaust were driving by. The homeless lady living in the woods near the house was also a little disconcerting.

Excellent property, vary spacious kitchen, living room and both rooms were spacious as well. This unit is a corner unit with a nice view of that is not obstructed by other units. Complex has two pools, nice park, gym and an activity booth to book excursions etc. 5 min walk takes you to a nice shopping area with restaurants, farmers market, grocery store and drug store. I would not hesitate to stay again next time im in Kona.

Spacious Property

The property was very spacious in a beautiful resort. The kitchen was well stocked, the property managers were very helpful and the the grounds of the resort are very well kept. We did have to pay for air conditioning but it was well worth it.

Wonderful location and beautiful condo!

We loved waking up to the birds and the view of the golf course. Place was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed. We would definitely stay here again, and just wished we owned it!

Lovely & quiet

We had a lovely week staying here. 4 adults so plenty of room in well appointed condo. Clean and tidy property with great relaxing pool nearby. The only issue was with the access to wifi when called provider had to to leave a message which they did not return. When did get access it was not secure. Everything else was as advertised. Overall a lovely stay.

Beautiful !

We enjoyed our stay. Was somewhat disappointed we couldn’t see the beach and had no idea where the restaurant was. We were approached by the lady down stairs in which she was on the board of the resort to ask us to use the garage but we couldn’t get in. No code for us. We were disappointed that the air conditioning unit wasn’t available until we paid in advance when we thought it was included. We could have never stayed without it! It took several hours to get it cooled down. We feel like that was certainly somewhat of a scam. Saw cockroaches on the deck and paid a large cleaning fee but then got a check out email saying we would be charged again if we didn’t leave it clean. Not good for a short vacation! Also, twice was interrupted by some guy just walking in to check for water damage he thought was coming from the upstairs condominium we were in. I asked for a personal check in when we got there but did not happen. Somewhat disappointed with the confusion. The stairs had trash on them.

Ok stay if you lower your expectations

Generally the stay was decent. The check in and check out processes were smooth, instructions were clear, and we had no issues with communicating with the property manager. Pictures made us think the property was much more updated, bright, and airy than it actually was. The property is pretty old and while minor things have been updated, we're talking about "old" to the point that surfaces are getting "sticky". There isn't very much light that gets in there (natural or artificial). Both of these things were not what the pictures implied, which is my biggest problem (picture misrepresentation). Location is pretty decent. We had gecko friends living inside with us (not a problem) and found two dead cockroaches throughout our stay (not traumatic but not sure whether this was par for the course, i.e., island normality, or just dirty).

Really enjoyed our stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We loved the little welcome basket from the property manager. The condo was clean and comfortable. It is even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. We didn’t do much cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked including a nice washer/dryer. We also didn’t have time to enjoy the amenities, but the grounds were nice. The location is great. So close to activities and restaurants and shops. We loved being right off of Ali’i Drive. We even saw part of a free hula show in the shopping center right across the street from the complex. We really did enjoy our stay here and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

Not directly in Kailua-Kona
 but a short drive away. Was perfect for us. Lots to do around Kailua Kona. Beautiful property right on the golf course. Fully equipped kitchen. BBQ grill on deck (with which we made a great steak dinner). Restaurants, grocery store and drug store just five minutes away.

Calm and relaxing home base

2nd time at kona coast resort. Appreciate the chill vibe. Great home base for exploring the island. This condo's kitchen had everything we needed and more. Spacious living area. More than enough space for growing teens and their parents. Short walk to the pool and a short walk to groceries and dining. Beach chairs and boogie boards would have made this condo perfect. Thanks for having us!
