The resort, staff and amenities were all outstanding. We visited this resort back in 1997 and returned 2026 and really enjoyed our time there.

We had a short stay and were very impressed with this place. The room was very clean. The room very was very spacious and had a huge patio. The bed was very comfortable. The activities were fun for the kids and we enjoyed the pool. Location was also great. I would definitely recommend

Villa was gorgeous! Very clean, fully stocked with everything we needed. And best of all we had the most amazing view of the ocean and nightly sunset! I e stayed here 4 times now. I absolutely love the resort. Only wish I could purchase one of these gorgeous villas to have as my own!!

Great location in Kona. Nice condo and amnesties. Customer service great! We thought we were getting a room with a view and didn’t. That was a bummer. If we come back to Kona, we’d probably stay here again. Thanks!

This was our second time staying at this location. Everything was perfect except there was a scent of stuffiness and maybe dew on the carpet that lingered. Had to buy Febreeze daily. Maybe leave patio doors opened to air out after every cleaning would be good. Kona Coast is definitely our preferred stay

This is a timeshare community, and we rented via the resort. On the positive side, our one-bedroom unit was enormous – over 1000 sq ft – and came fully equipped and supplied with everything we needed for a 9-day stay. The grounds are lovely, and we especially enjoyed the “quiet pool”, no kids splashing around or loud music. There was a TV in the living room that got many live stations plus Netflix, and a full-size washer and dryer in the kitchen. It was also very affordable, compared to other places on the island. Even the beach equipment rentals were quite reasonable. But we got what we paid for. Even though it had been renovated, with granite countertops and Shaker cabinets, the unit had a very 1970s feel: dark, musty, tired. They must have hired the interior decorator from Motel 6. The garage was so tiny that we had trouble opening the doors of our medium-sized sedan, and the garage door was not automated (it was required that we park in the garage). We had to climb two flights of stairs to get to the unit (even the first-floor units in our building had steps), although they would have helped us with our luggage if we had asked. And the property has no beach access whatsoever (even though you can see the ocean from everywhere) nor is it an easy walk to the closest beach. You will definitely need a car for everything. Bottom line: Good value for the money, but don’t expect luxury.
