Ocean view over lagoon garden view from the lanai (balcony). You're so close that you'll hear the ocean and see the waves come sideways into the lagoon below. Enjoy seeing the fish and turtles swim in the lagoon and the lighthouse in the distance. You will see the dolphins in the bay all year round and see the whale in the season. The sounds of the sea will help you sleep after a day of sightseeing or relaxation.

Hale Kona Kai is an intimate, absolute oceanfront building of 39 one-bedroom condos. Located on the outskirts of Kona City, it is off the main road providing calm, ocean-view relaxation from every device. Located just south of Royal Kona Resort, fantastic dining at Huggo's or Don Beachcomber's is a two-minute walk away and other restaurants are just a fun stroll away. The white sand of Honl's Beach is less than a quarter-mile south and the Kona Farmer's Market half a mile north.
The complex offers an elevator that provides convenient access for all. On the ocean side, you'll find a heated saltwater swimming pool and a grill on the south end of the complex. There are laundry machines available on each level.
Each unit includes designated parking, safe WIFI, & cable TV. Both units, like Lanais, are non-smoking and Hale Kona Kai is non-smoking.
Please note: The central air conditioning system is currently down due to a replacement project. Site management has projected completion by October 20, 2025, pending shipping of final parts. In the meantime, each unit is equipped with a portable air-conditioning unit in the bedroom for guest comfort.
