Excellent location! Less than 10 minutes walk to omicho market or korinobo (shopping areas). Room was clean and in-room washer/dryer was very convenient. It was a bonus to have a window that actually opened. The staff was nice and helped to fill out forms to forward luggage to our next hotel.

There’s one good reason to stay at Tokyu Stay: The washer-dryer combo in every room. Everything else about a good hotel is also there: Clean room, professional and courteous staff, a solid breakfast buffet and being on a main thoroughfare in Kanazawa.

For people complaining about small rooms in Japan, I would have to say this is on par with the size that I stayed in both Kyoto and Asakasa. The washer dryer machine inside was clutch. They even provided the laundry detergent! I couldn't figure out how to use it and the girl downstairs actually came up and helped me set up the machine. The staff here was so friendly and the coolest thing is the hotel is in walking distance to the castle and Samurai village and also the fish market.
The toilet here was one of the best in my hotels! It has angle and pressure and water temperature control!
You will want to put 4 squirts on the bottom left container for 1 normal load. Takes about 2.5 hours for the full wash and dry

The room was very clean and spacious. Staff were always ready to help us. The location made it easy for us to visit places of interest. Although we bought a one day bus pass we didn’t use it. Neither did we fully use the tourist attraction pass fully as we only had one day at Kanazawa.
