Publié le 25 févr. 2024 sur HotelsWhen we arrived they tried to charge extra than quoted for the room. The room was small and dated very average for the price. We stated we had 2 dogs before arrival and still got a small room.
The food and drinks were ok. Nothing above average.
We asked to have our deserts in our room. There was a £5 extra charge for this
Again when checking out. Extra chargers were added that we had paid for.
Just ok room and food. Could probably get better for the price.

Room was ok, a bit tired in places though. The pool was sufficient and relatively clean.
The restaurant was lovely and service was very good.

We had one night at Damsen Dene and had a really lovely evening. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. Unfortunately the shower didn't work very well at all, and we were charged more than the price quoted for the room, maybe for our two little dogs. We mind too much as it is in a beautiful spot, and very easy from the motorway.

Comfortable Stay Reasonably priced
Publié le 20 oct. 2023 sur HotelsStaff were very courteous, don’t be afraid to ask for a different room if you are not happy. the first room I was allocated was not to my liking at all….
No view, directly onto flat roof with air con unit running outside, I asked the receptionist and given a choice of two other rooms and was moved to room number 3.
Now this room was a little smaller but it was warm, had character nice furnishing, 4 poster bed very comfortable and a spa bath. Very clean.
Food at the hotel was very good. Plenty of gardens to walk the dog.

Nice to have use of the spa and gym. Lovely food in the restaurant.
Receptionist extremely helpful and polite.
The only thing I can say is that it was a bit chilly through the night.

Decent hotel, a little dated in areas ie gym/sauna/pool area but worth the visit.
