Decent but nothing to write home about.

The place was as pictured, the view is amazing. It is a no frills hotel that feels like old florida. We stayed in cabin 9 right on the water. You could tell it was remodeled recently and they did a great job. Beds were comfy and AC worked Great. Very clean. My only complaint about the room is there is nowhere to put your things down in the bathroom. No hooks, no shelf, and the sink barley has a ledge. The reason I did not give 5 stars.... they don't allow any fishing behind the hotel. Key largo has almost no public fishing spots so you are kinda restricted to shore fishing where you stay. We have stayed all over the keys and this was a first. Even more so because it is nowhere on the website or booking process. We didn't know until we showed up and they told us at check-in. The boat ramp is ok for a smaller boat but we watched a guy with a 22' who was unable to make the 90° turn to even get to the ramp out back, so be warned if you are bringing anything over 18'ish. The pool was pretty gross, clear water, but my daughter pointed out how much hair and fuzz was floating around. Stuck my mask on, took a look, and immediately got out. Might want to run that pump a few more hours a day. Overall, for the price in August I would say it was worth it if you don't care about fishing and aren't bringing a boat. The beach area was nice and ver relaxing.

We will be back

We stayed for 3 nights at a water view cabana. It was nice and clean, even tho needs some little improvements - a/c vent was missing cover, some dust on fan and higher surfaces, etc. a roll of paper towel would be appreciated too, but it’s not included. The views are great, water was very clean, sunsets were awesome! Also I noticed they cleaned up outdoor areas, which is nice, one year ago it was a bit messy. That was our 2nd stay and we would definitely be back!

This quaint little property in Key Largo is perfect for anyone to escape from their daily living... Linda, the owner is awesome! All the staff were nice Rooms were impeccably clean as well as the grounds. Great pool!, nice doc. Nice Beach No hesitation for five stars We'll definitely be back

Plumbing backed up, flooding the floor and causing brown material to come up through the shower drain. After sitting in the car for three hours waiting for them to fix it, we noticed that our freshly cleaned room had brown smears on the floor next to the toilet and what appeared to be fecal matter smeared on a towel. No refund or compensation offered by the hotel.

The room that we had was beautifully decorated, very comfortable and very clean. The problem was it was on the second floor at the end of a very steep flight of stairs. The advertising shows only the "cottages" and nothing about the two-story bldg. Nothing was mentioned at booking or subsequently when speaking with the resort about the room being on the second floor. For 80 and 75 yr old women this presented a real problem and definitely reduced our pleasure in the long-awaited weekend. It would have been nice if someone had at least offered to help us get our bags up those stairs. However, the Tiki Hut at the end of the pier was very nice and kept the sun from burning while we enjoyed the bay breezes.

this is a great place to stay! There is a really nice pool and a really nice beach and depending on where your room is neither one is very far to walk to!!!! There are nice chaise lounges and great beach towels! They have a lovely gazebo at the end of one of the docs and they also have a boat ramp for a small boat! You can sit in that gazebo and watch the sunset and it’s amazing or you can sit in the water and watch the sunset!!!!! It’s centrally located so there’s lots of places around to eat and drink!!!!!!! I loved it and plan on returning!

just to watch the sunset was priceless and the peaceful vibe afterwards is something i can get used to down the line when i retire!! I'll definitely be a guest again and the room i shared with my fiance (rm 22) was truly comfortable and to make sudden arrangements at the last minute for a getaway vacation will be memorable for a long time between us!!! what an unforgettable experience
