Private Balcony w/ Mountain Views in River Run, Short Walk to Everything!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, a full-over-full bunk bed, and a queen sleeper sofa. It features stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and a private balcony with beautiful slope views in the distance. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Expedition Station offers shared amenities including a pool and a hot tub.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience as you come and go throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV next to a beautiful gas fireplace with stone surround and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the main living area and offers beautiful mountain views and the ski slopes in the distance.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats six with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. The guest bathroom is just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary suite features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination with a door separating the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features a full-over-full bunk bed with a twin trundle and a flat screen TV.

The condo itself is fantastic and exactly what we needed for our group. Walking distance to restaurants, nice pool and hot tub. But a 4:30pm check-in and 10am checkout just isn't customer friendly. And being told that it's possible but I'd have to pay an additional fee per hour to get it... no thanks. I appreciate hosts who go the extra mile for their guest (by simply letting them check in a little early if the condo is clean) when possible and don't nickel and dime. So unfortunately due to those policies I wouldn't stay here again.

Fabulous area, well maintained

The property is great, comfortable beds, clean, great communication. The only downfall would be the appliances. The oven never fully heated to the temp needed. However, being so close to the village and gondola were fantastic!

Excellent location, comfortable condo

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. The location is excellent - literally part of the River Run shops & restaurants district. Rating it a 4 because the checkin was cumbersome & really late, there is nowhere to store luggage on the property so we had to leave it at the offsite management company & take a bus back to get them and the keys didn’t work when we were finally able to check in, we never got our ski locker key after requesting multiple times and there were no instructions to be found- for where the garbage and recycling was, how to use the PlayStation (‘my kids were bummed), how to close up, where to order food, etc. etc. Also kitchen felt a bit sparse (no measuring cups, no foil, limited utensils & sheet pans) so we had to do dishes every night for a family of 5. But overall nice place, we would recommend.

Nice condo

The condo was nice.The fourth bed is a trundle bed.On par with most of the condos in the village, starting to show some age.Would have been nice to have a curtain on the sliding glass door in the living room. Made for a chilly night on the sofa sleeper.

Perfect Location and Comfort

We enjoyed our stay at Expedition Station 8603. Checkin across the highway was easy. We were able to check in a little early. So had to pick up keys in the office where staff was knowledgeable and pleasant. Communication excellent. Every question was answered efficiently, and our one issue ( needed a set of sheets) was handled expeditiously. The condo was across Dercom Dr. from the ice skating rink and a short walk to our favorite café, Inxpot. Then a short walk to the gondola. Parking is on the River Run Road side of the building. Thank goodness for the covered parking! The highs were in the teens, the lows in negative digits. **Be aware that parking spots are tight. Very large vehicles would be tricky to park if the building were fully occupied. We appreciated the multiple humidifiers provided by the hosts. Fans and extra blankets were also available. A drying rack was an unexpected and super helpful item. We are a party of 4 adults. The beds were comfortable and roomy. The only bit of discomfort was that the lower bunk is very short. My adult son was not able to sit up in bed without hitting his head. The kitchen was well stocked with a coffee maker and all the equipment you would need to prepare meals. For management or owner: with no covering for the sliding door, quite a bit of cold air comes in through the center. Even a set of simple curtains to close at night would help regulate the temperature better in the family room and kitchen.

Construction noise was a problem

Although the accommodations were great and we have stayed in this unit before, the 7:00 am construction and vehicle noise was unacceptable. We wished were give some info about this when we selected this unit again. Very unhappy that this was not disclosed.

Complicated check in

The check in has you go somewhere off site to get your keycard, the parking garage is pretty small and was hard to find a space in, and all communication is not through the vrbo app. Otherwise it was a great stay. Just be aware they will contact you outside of vrbo app for all communication.

Not worth the price

Rental was clean. Reserving process and check was fine. But the cost just not worth it. Parking in a parking garage. Not being able to check in til 4:30 and check out at 10 left us little time in the rental. Read your explanation about length of time to clean - but you’re charging a premium so hire more staff.

Overall incredible stay!

The place was absolutely stunning! The view was spectacular, walking distance for the slopes, place to store your equipment, tons of games, cooking supplies, and so much. Not only was the stay amazing, but their communication was unparalleled. They were quick to respond, and they provided all information about the place upfront to ensure a easy and seamless stay. Spring break ski vacation

This is one of the more spacious units available in River Run village at Keystone so we had some room for energetic kids to play, and there’s a playground directly across the street. It’s a reasonable walk to the gondola, even for a 5 year old in ski boots. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were lots of extra pillows and blankets, and checkout process is simple. The only things we wished were upgraded were the pillows and mattress on the king bed. It’s a great condo, and we would stay here again!

Nice Condo

Nice Condo. Not exactly what I'd call staying in the village, but it's only a 5 minute walk. 10 minutes to the gondola. X-Box with games in 2 rooms. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Refrigerator doesn't make ice, so you have to use trays. Outdoor hot tub air jets didn't work and the filter system didn't work well, so the water was greasy with hair and some leaves floating in it. I'm sure that will be corrected soon. Steam room stays off when not in use, so you need to turn it on for 15 minutes before using it. Tons of extra soap and shampoo in the gym shower, if needed. Nice parking garage. Convenient location to highway. Very quiet. Plenty of luggage carts in the garage elevator area. I'd like to be a little closer to the village center if the price was the same, but All said, I'd stay here again.

Clean, corner unit, well stocked for extended stay. Wifi password wrong, took us awhile to guess. No mention of parking garage in basement, but discovered it by accident. Ski locker situation not explained well. Garbage room in the basement filthy mess and not sure why, when I pay a cleaning fee, I am asked to dispose of garbage. Long hallways and lots of walking to this unit, but quiet at the end of hall.
