Updated Condo, Walk to Slopes, Pool & Hot Tub, Private Deck with Stunning Views

Situated in River Run Village, this rare three bedroom, newly remodeled condominium is only a 2 minute walk to the gondola and has great amenities! With both west and south facing large windows, this second floor corner unit gets ample natural lights and has great views of the surrounding mountains and ski slopes! The living room features a large, inviting L-shaped couch, flat screen TV, and a beautiful, stone fireplace. Just off of your living room space, a sliding glass door opens to the fresh mountain air of your private, sunny patio, overlooking the slopes and mountains to the west. The patio has a cocktail table so you can soak in the sunset mountain views. Adjoining the living and dining space, you’ll find the dedicated and generous kitchen, with ample countertop space. The kitchen also is equipped with all brand new stainless steel appliances! Smaller tangible necessities like your morning coffee-maker and slow-cook crockpot will make your long ski days even more convenient to enjoy. For larger families, the long dining table, with dual, removable end-leafs can comfortably accommodate 10 people. Also off of the main living area, you’ll enjoy the convenience of your own private stacked washer and dryer and an alcove to hang your snow gear.

The primary bedroom, with west-facing views of Buffalo Mountain, boasts a king bed, a flat-screen TV, ample closet space, and a full bathroom, including a dual-sink vanity, combination shower/jacuzzi tub, and enclosed water closet. The second primary bedroom features a king bed, flat screen TV, plentiful closet space, and a full bathroom with dual-sink vanity, and an enclosed toilet and stall shower. The third bedroom has a twin-over-full bunkbed with twin trundle, a flat-screen TV, and ample closet space as well. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room to accommodate additional guests.

Expedition Station is an amenity rich building. Inside on the the lobby level you’ll find a massive, beautiful stone fireplace setting with cozy seating arrangements. There is an adjacent entertainment alcove with large wall-mounted, flat-screen TV and a handsomely rugged billiards table for all to enjoy. Rejuvenate in the year-round outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub just outside the main lobby. Steps down the hall you’ll have key-card access to a plentiful exercise room, with weight and cardio machines, as well as the adjacent steam room. You’ll also have a private ski-locker just steps from the front door of the building and a heated, underground parking garage. Directly out the front doors of Expedition Station is Dercum Square’s quaint outdoor skating rink (mini-golf in the summer-time), and of course you’re just a 2-3 minute walk to all of the inner-village activities, shopping and dining of River Run Village and the River Run Gondola.

Other helpful amenities found in the condo include: 3 cool-mist humidifiers, hair dryer in each bathroom, lockable safe, and keycard entry, and 2 small fans.

Not sure how to rate this. We booked this condo and got a call the day before we flew out that it was no longer available because of a water leak that had happened weeks before. Flooring had been ripped out without rental management company knowing, so better communication would have been nice so we didn’t have to work with the rental company on finding a different place to stay with a days notice.

Needs Maintenance

Great location, but needs maintenance, repairs and updates. Property was still dirty upon arrival. Hairs in bedding, dirty floors, bathrooms and hard surfaces. Strong oder in one of the bedrooms, opened windows to air out, then windows wouldn’t close. Legs about to fall off a couple of chairs and fireplace wasn’t working. Property management fixed what they could and changed the sheets. Great layout and location, but cannot recommend based on poor cleanliness and needed repairs.

Love it!

This location was amazing!!! The condo was exactly what it said! Everything was clean except the master bedrooms comforter! It very easily could have been stained though! There was plenty of plates/bowls and cups! Kitchen was stocked very well with extras we were not expecting but thankful for! Our keys quit working and it was a super easy fix! Property managers answered quickly and got us new keys with no questions asked! Super impressed!

Pillows are lumpy and gross, bed linens are ancient, Wi-Fi so slow that barely usable. Location is good. Main living area is very small and uncomfortable- tiny couch, hard chairs. Really no place for more than two or three people to hang out

Great place and location

We had 8 family members (ages 12-70) stay in this condo and it was pretty much perfect. Location couldn’t have been better. A 10-15 min walk to the entrance of the Gondola with your skis . Skating rink is literally across the street and ski rental places across the street for ease of picking up and returning (nordi ski and keystone rentals river run) the parking garage is a lifesaver and never had a problem with parking. We had a great time and would definitely book again!

Nice property in a good location

This condo was as advertised and in a great location for hanging out and being able to walk to some stores and places to eat. It is close to the Gondula and trails/slopes. The condo was in good condition. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean and stocked well. It is a little dated and could use some upgrades of electronics/TVs and kitchen utensils and other items. Also when we were there the kitchen lights did not work. Maintenance was called and had it scheduled to fix but we left before being done, otherwise this would get 5 stars.

Spacious with great location

Great end unit with an open pool and hot tub. It was nice to rent a larger unit giving our family more space to spread out. A couple blocks walk to the mountain which works nicely with young kids (although still challenging with all the gear). Unit could use some updating but wasn’t of major concern for us. We would rent again!

Located in the river run village in Expedition Station less than 5 minute walk to the river run gondola. The building and unit were very clean and in great condition. Most of the village restaurants were open. All retail shops were open. Parking for one car in the underground garage, outdoor heated pool and hot tub were open. Also, less than 10 minute drive to A Basin.

cold showers...brrr

the condo was really nice but no hot water until our 3rd out of 4 days. Had to shower in locker room off spa & pool. Called and was told a cal was put in. the water was barely even lukewarm so had to put all dishes in dishwasher- couldn't even wash anything by hand due to no hot water. The kitchen had all kinds of gadgets & a variety of cooking utensils but didn't have a can opener or a corkscrew!! I feel these are pretty basic necessities in a ski condo. Had to use a the punch end of a bottle opener to go around soup can lids..dangerous. Other than than no hot water & no can opener or corkscrew...we LOVED the condo. It had the perfect bed arrangement and booked this particular one due to it having 3 full baths but then didn't even get to enjoy that convenience. For the price per night...should have immediately had someone checking into the hot water issue. Had a problem with gas fireplace last year at Summit Cove and a maintenance person was there in 30 mins!! That is the kind of customer service I expect when renting at this price.

nice location. nice amenities. only complaint... initially the property management only provided 2 key-cards for 4 adults and the key-cards didn't open the building or garage (as they should have). this was corrected after a few days with 4 key-cards that worked properly.

Great location and space but NO HOT WATER!

Went skiing with friends for a long weekend and loved the location and the condo space but there were a few drawbacks that kept me from leaving five stars. The biggest was there wasn't any hot water. I called the management company and they said they would send someone over to look at it. I got a call a few hours later saying they had spoken to the onsite rep for the building and were told that they have been experiencing this issue for months! Apparently they can't provide enough hot water for the building or at least this part of the building and the only solution they could offer was to shower in the spa area, which didn't seem like the cleanest place I'd ever seen or to shower during off times when there wasn't peak demand. We tried off times but the most we could get was lukewarm water with it turned all the way to hot. Also not so sure the cleaning company is doing that great of a job. When my buddy went to go to bed he found that there were hairs all over his pillow. So unsure if the sheets had been changed or not. But enough of the negatives. The condo is in s great location steps from the gondola and the River Run main square. It's very well equipped with all of the amn=enities in the kitchen and elsewhere that you might need. Good internet access, tv's in every room and plenty of space and bathrooms for four adults. There is a nice little balcony to sit on in the warmer months and a big plus it has an on-site washer and dryer. There is also a ski locker so you don't have to haul them back upstairs and we were able to get two pairs of skis and two snowboards inside. All in all a great spot that would be a return location if they can just the issue with the hot water fixed.

Wonderful Condo - well maintained!

We loved our stay here. There were 6 of us and the size was just perfect. Very comfortable beds and good use of space. We love to cook and were very happy to find a wellappointed kitchen with the owner having stocked lots of spices etc. You can tell the owners are into cooking too. Normally when we rent, there will be salt, pepper and coffee, but here we had the works. You can also tell the owners really care for this space and don't just see it as income producing property - the feeling is so much better therefore. Once again, loved it, thank you for sharing your wonderful place with us!
