Enjoyed our stay.
This 1 bedroom - 2 bath unit was in Building 5 - main floor. For two people this unit is just fine. Small lanai but has the advantage of having direct access to nice expanse of grass. This building is the furthest from the beach so if you have lots of stuff to take to the beach, it's a bit of hike. Don't plan on doing too much gourmet cooking in this unit. only has the basics. Old window a/c is not all that effective. Bedroom does has a portable to keep it cool. We have been to Kamaole Sands probably 10 times. This unit is mid range. Have we stayed in worse - oh yah - have we stayed in better - yes, but you get what you pay for. Would we recommend this unit to others - depending on their expectations - yes.

pleasant and pleasing
This is a very pleasant and pleasing property, well located across from very nice family beaches and close enough to basic shopping that you could manage without a car if you had to......management was most helpful with a couple of issues we had with the unit and again we encountered no staff who were not cheerful and ready to assist......all in all it was a great place to stay and we had a good time which, after all is said and done, what we came for.....I should add, the barbeque area was nice for evening entertaining but the pool, while clean and well kept , was a bit chilly for senior citizen blood although the kids seemed to find it just fine.....well done Kamaole Sands.......
