A fantastic place to stay for visiting the area. Very hospitable and professional. Large comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfasts.

Lovely friendly hotel

Special mention for the chef who we didn't see but produced consistently great food. Our room was in the front of the hotel so there was a bit of noisy, probably tractor, activity around 430am really not a busy road though. The only very slight issue was the water wasn't very hot. There were lots of (well behaved) dogs both staying and using the bar which was great for us but may not suit everyone.

Is this really an hotel
Publié le 5 nov. 2023 sur HotelsThe Food was of a good standard, the premises were very clean, and Joseph the barman/ waiter was charming.
But we felt this was only an illusion of an hotel, there was no soul to it.The restaurant didn't open for lunch or dinner on the Monday that we stayed. We were assured that we would be able to get a drink in the bar after going out for Dinner, but on our return the hotel was in darkness and the bar locked up, this was only 9.30pm
On both nights we stayed the fire alarms were triggered, and we had to wait at least 30 minutes for someone to come and turn them off. I thought it a very inhospitable experience
