Enjoyed our 6 day stay at Mercure. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel backs on to the beach, which needs a clean up some rubbish around. Nice hotel, but could do with slight up dating partially the deco.

Only downside of the property is the location, it’s quite a distance from Lamai beach. There is a free shuttle service, however, it only runs in the afternoons. If you want to spend a full day on the beach then you will need to make your own way there in the morning. Hotel itself is amazing though, absolutely no complaints.

Location is okay. Slightly away from Lamai beach, beach isn’t the best which is a shame. Pool area is good, when we stayed it was quiet and no need to panic over seats. Positives are the freaky staff/ manager, but basic in terms of everything. We stayed at 3 hotels at Koh Samui and this was the worst by far.

Wasn’t what we were expecting for 4 star. More like a 2 star. Located on a busy, loud road. Would not refund us as it was booked with Expedia. We didn’t even stay the night, we moved to another beautiful hotel/resort.

So so hotel with improvements needed in term of upkeep, maintenance, large area of concrete walkway to the pool broken with uneven steps ,room cleanliness spotty. Staff however very prompt and tries hard to remedy, solve some issues.

Totally recommend

I had the most amazing 9 days at Mercure in Koh Samui and can’t wait to return, after 5 weeks non stop travelling around Southeast Asia I was SO happy to be welcomed at Mercure. The whole stay was easy from the contact for collection from the airport to drop of back to the airport the hotel staff were amazing, friendly& always happy.The Hotel is beautiful & super clea, the food is superb, the area is lovely and room was perfect. Only bad thing was I had to leave to fly home to snow. But Mercure I will be back soon and can not wait. Thank you all for making my stay relaxing , enjoyable& very pleasant.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever styed in, this hote was clean and very good location, staff are so friendly including both managers who assisted us and welcomed us with arms wide open, however the service we all received from Poh from front house was exceptional excellent, she went up and beyond for our stay and made us so happy in fact we was all sad to leave because she done so much good to us all thank you so much, Poh you have made Thailand a holiday to remember thank you so much.

Great, clean accommodation with amazing service

It was a lovely resort on the beach with great sun lounging facilities either at the pool or facing the lovely sea! The breakfast buffet was nice touch to an average, but clean, room. The only thing left to be desired is the location as there isn’t really anything surrounding the resort but the hotel does provide a shuttle service into the center

OK OK Hotel, but better hotels available elsewhere

The hotel was ok, I thought Mercury hotel being a well known chain would also maintain their services as par with their name, instead, neahhh ... I was given a room where the geyser didn't work, it took them 2 hrs to get it working, and even though it was low season, they didn't even offer to change my room after requesting them. Pool, not clean. Service : can't expect much., Restaurant Shuts at 10 pm if the hotel is empty. so if you have a late night out and want to come to the room and drink, you would have to go to the Family Mart or 7 Eleven store to buy yourself a bottle opener as they do not offer service after 10.

awful!!!! human excrement on mattress, blood splatter all over blind also ripped and sewn up! have sent a complaint to mercure direct! false advertisement as rooms advertised do not exist, pool so cloudy no one got in! dirty rooms and dirty grounds shame on Mercure ticked only 4 and 5 star and got what I can only explain as 1 star! took my son for his 21st and ruined my whole holiday. disgraceful
