Good hotel in a fantastic location.
Posted Mar. 8, 2024 on HotelsIn summary, a good value family hotel with large and expansive grounds and a choice of pools.
The pool water was not clear and well below a five star standard.
As it was school holidays the breakfast buffet was crowded with guests.
The staff, from reception to room attendants, were all friendly and helpful, and always greeted guests with a smile.
The buildings are dated now, however, for the price payed, I would recommend the hotel.
Beware of the monkeys out the front on the approach road. Guests need to be cautious of this troupe, as they show no fear of humans and can be aggressive if they feel threatened.

Terrible condition at Hyatt kuantan
Posted Dec. 24, 2023 on HotelsThe towels, linen and curtains were dirty. The sofa had blood stains on it. Both rooms had mold in the AC and on the table. Despite requesting to have the rooms side by side, no action was taken to accommodate this. The lights in the rooms that were not working. The coffee ordered was cold. I made the difficult decision to leave the hotel early and was further disappointed when informed that a refund would not be granted for the rest of the stay.

Worth it!
Posted Dec. 5, 2023 on HotelsThe hotel had provided a free upgrade to club room and it was a pleasant surprise for us as the room is spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet spread was good and the Malay delicacy was super yummy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
