Symon Lodge can accommodate 4 adults and 2 children.

This charming architect house is located in La Roche en Ardennes, in a quiet area close to the city center.The house is spread over two floors. On the ground floor: living room, dining room, open plan fully equipped kitchen, relaxation area with a quality sofa bed and separate toilet. The living room opens onto the garden and terrace through a patio door. The large fireplace is purely decorative (it cannot be used to make a fire) but gives the living room a unique character. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (with double beds), one of which is directly connected to the double bathroom (two separate but communicating areas with a bath and washbasin on one side and a shower, washbasin and WC on the other side)

The house is ideally located in a quiet area of La Roche en Ardennes. The town center and shops are a 5-minute walk away. Dogs are allowed for an additional fee and wifi is free.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

A lovely house

This is a beautifully designed home in a prime location within easy walking distance of shops along the pieton, the museum, and restaurants . The house is well-furnished and has a well-maintained garden that is generally quiet, although the neighboring houses and a large school are close by. Directions/ instructions, as provided by many VRBO owners, would have been helpful, though we were able to eventually figure things out related to TV, recycling, washer and dryer.. management of the property could be less cumbersome. We paid the rental fee to Belvilla. Then a deposit was paid to another company (Ourthe et Somme), and check in and check out was done through a third company ( apparently a local hotel who couldn’t provide much information. For some reason, all info related ti check out procedures were written only in Dutch, though the house is in Wallonie. I may hesitate to rent through Belvilla in the future

Charmantes Haus in bester Lage

Vom Haus und der hochwertigen Einrichtung, insbesondere der mit Elektrogeräten bestens ausgestatteten Küche (neuer Herd, Backofen, großer Kühlschrank und Gefriertruhe...) waren wir sehr begeistert, obwohl das Haus in Teilen schon etwas abgewohnt erschien. Leider war die Spüle teilweise abgeklebt, da es offensichtlich an einer Stelle keinen Abfluss gab und damit nur eingeschränkt zu nutzen. Einen Hinweis darauf gab es vorher nicht. Das geht natürlich so nicht, dürfte für den Vermieter aber leicht zu beheben sein. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden mit dem Objekt und werden sicher gerne wieder kommen.

Het huis is mooi, de omgeving fantastich.De woning was wel erg stoffig en zat vol met spinne/stofwebben.Ook de matrassen lagen vol met rommel. Er was niet veel aandacht gegeven aan de reiniging. Dat was een teleurstelling want het huis op zich is heel mooi.

Auf den ersten Blick ist es ein super cooles Haus, schöner Garten, sehr schöne Lage, nah am Zentrum und nah an der Weide, wo man Kajak fahren kann. Leider ist es überhaupt nicht sauber. Die Sitze sind dreckig, der Teppich ist nicht mehr in seiner ursprünglichen Farbe zu sehen, die Matratze ist durchgelegen, die Farbe blättert vor allem im Badezimmer ab, es gibt keinen Gartentisch oder Gartenstuhl, sondern nur eine kleine Lounge, die mit zusammengehängt ist Band. Außerdem war es wirklich nicht richtig gereinigt worden. Wir fanden faule Äpfel von früheren Gästen, überall Spinnen- und Staubnetze, Schimmel in der Waschmaschine und unter den Betten, die schon seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr gereinigt wurden. Die Dusche wurde nicht gereinigt und wir können dies weiterhin auflisten. Wir haben Ardenne online angerufen, um dies zu melden. Sie haben jemanden geschickt, der die Reinigung zusätzlich erledigt, aber sie haben nicht mehr als nur die Böden gereinigt. Schade, das könnte wirklich ein tolles Haus sein, wenn der Zustand nicht so dreckig und ungepflegt wäre.

Mooie leuke woning

Verblijf was prima, mooie woning op een toplocatie. Sommige apparatuur misschien iets verouderd in de keuken en veel rolgordijnen gingen niet makkelijk open of dicht. Tuinhek misschien ook aan een upgrade toe. Maar overall een heerlijk weekend!!
