Love the concept and execution. The food was great. The staff was hit or miss in terms of friendliness/hospitality. Felt like I was in a masculine wind-surfers playground. I wasn't prepared for how cold it got at night. I would definitely come back with my son--very kid-friendly.

This was such a fun, outstanding place to stay. They let us use the kayaks for free, and we kayak out into the sunrise and saw mobulas jumping! Very friendly and helpful staff really delicious food at the beach café excellent service. I am definitely coming back.

It’s a novelty for sure but odd in its lack of amenities. The tents have power but no refrigerator. The site prohibits food from outside yet it’s a tent experience. The beach is nice enough but you can’t swim freely due to rocks on the beach. It’s also windy, explains the kite surfing thing… cost is a bit high for services rendered. Travelers can do better right down road.

Great place , very unique and great for families. Service a bit slow for food but your on vacation so no harm . Good access for wind sports and a small reef decent for snorkeling in the mornings. /. Great location for mtn biking

I will come back . The beach was perfect. And the vibe was chill. Ordering food was a bit slow , but the staff was sincere and nice. The tents were clean and beds were nice . We were there at very hot part of the summer so yurts were a sauna in the day, but you live outside and have an ocean , not a problem really.

Chilo Chill is the perfect beach vacation spot. I love the boutique size of the property - 10 yurts, and it is RIGHT on the beach! There is nothing quite like walking out of your room, right onto soft sand only feet away from the beach. The beach is stunning and perfect for lounging and swimming. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food is great with many fresh healthy options. We loved all of the hammocks, lounge chairs, and spots for laying out on the beach. Very fun vibe, party atmosphere but still respectful and not too high energy. The private open-air bathrooms are so much fun - taking a shower under the stars was a highlight, along with falling asleep in an insanely comfy bed to the sound of waves lapping against the shore on the Sea of Cortez. Can't wait to come back!
