Lake cottage with a great view. Sylvan Cellars is 10 minutes away.

This older lake cottage has four bedrooms and one and a half baths (recently updated). The floor coverings and mattresses were updated in 2018. There are 3 queen and 5 twin beds-all on the second floor. The living area is fairly large, The deck is good sized and overlooks the lake. There are multiple steps down to the lake. with eighty feet of lakefront. Nicely landscaped. Kitchen is fully furnished. Washer and dryer on site. Gas grill available for use. Private dock. Parking for up to three vehicles provided. We are 20 minutes from Shipshewana, Michiana Event Center and 10 minutes from Sylvan Cellars Event Center. We are close to multiple county parks. Delt Church Park has a Disc Golf Course and walking trails (5 miles), Pine Knob Park has a 3-D archery course and a boardwalk trail though a natural fen (14 miles), and Duff Memorial Park has a small mountain bike trail (15 miles). If you like nature, this is the place for you!

This was our first experience renting a property. EVERYTHING was easy peasy. The home and views are lovely. Owners have thought of every detail to make your stay amazing. Our only regret is not having enough time to spend at the home just enjoying ourselves. Would definitely do it again if needing to stay in the area.

The photo of the house from the lakeside does not do it justice. This is a sweet house that has been lovingly maintained and thoughtfully appointed. We were at Lolo's for three days to spend time in an area we love and with friends we enjoy. Lolo's was the icing on the cake!

Always a great stay at Lolo's Lakeside Retreat

It is an excellent place to stay with our family. Beautiful lake and a very comfortable home for the 7 of us. This is our 5th or 6th time staying here for a week. We will be returning in 2026.

The only thing that I can think of Is to take the Ouija Board that you have nailed up on the wall, is to maybe consider taking it down cause it may offend some people!! Other than that we feel it was great!!

Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! Beautiful view of lake and the cottage had everything we needed. The deck was so nice for meals and relaxing. The home was very comfortable and well maintained with beautiful gardens. Kids were able to swim from pier
.loved the games and puzzles and nice fire pit for S’mores! The lake is quiet and several sandy areas to anchor and swim. The cottage was perfect for us and hope to return.

Wonderful property with even better hosts! We've been with Lynn and Trenia 8 times and we will continue to return annually. The new deck was a nice update! Can't wait till our next visit in a month!

Great Vacation

This is our second time staying at this house. It is a beautiful house, very clean, and stocked with just about anything you need. Lynn is very nice and very helpful in answering any questions you may have. The lake is really nice and overall pretty quite. We have really enjoyed both of our vacations here and will definitely be back again!!
