Relax in a spacious outdoor oasis, perfect for morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply soaking in Colorado’s natural beauty. Thoughtfully furnished interior provides a cozy, inviting and easy atmosphere for your stay.

The Space:
The home is a completely private 2 bedroom/ 1 bath basement unit but you would never imagine you're in a basement once you enter. Tall ceilings, ample light and space provide an easy space for relaxation, games with kids or friends and so much more.

Step outside to your own private outdoor oasis. Whether you want to soak up the sun, enjoy al fresco dining, or simply breathe in the fresh Colorado air, the outdoor space is your personal sanctuary.

Enjoy your downtime with two smart TVs, one in the master and one in the living room to stream to your hearts content. Also included are multiple video game systems including Nintendo Switch, PS4, and more.

The home has one king bed and one queen bed. The king bed is a Helix fully adjustable base with massage modes, under lighting and more readily available that allows both people sleeping to find optimal comfort.

Enjoy walking trails to take in the fresh Colorado air right outside your doorstep, mountain views are only a few steps away.

A fully equipped kitchen allows the food lovers to enjoy their time doing what they do best.

The Neighborhood:
The home is located just blocks from Old Town Lafayette which is full of restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, and more while also providing a quiet residential feel full of parks, and recreation centers. 30 minutes to Denver and 15 minutes to Boulder make this neighborhood an ideal location for all travelers.

The home is also right next to walking trails with beautiful mountain and colorado views that you simply cannot get anywhere else.

Getting Around:
You will not need to venture far for much but if you need to there are multiple ways of getting around but the easiest will either be bus route, or Uber

This is not a complete house, this is a basement of a house. We are late night people, and we were constantly worried we might wake up the owners upstairs. This was not well-communicated to us ahead of time, so we ended up leaving the location and staying at a local friend's house instead.

The rental is in a beautiful neighborhood and super close to downtown Lafayette. I think the value of the rental is decent. The backyard is definitely the best thing about the rental. It’s nice they allow pets and have a space to take them out. We booked this spot because our home down the road was having construction work. I wanted to give an honest review as I believe this is probably a nice spot if you are just visiting and need a place to land. It’s not an ideal place to hang out or work remotely. We ended up not staying a single night and preferred to deal with the construction instead for several reasons. The listing says it doesn’t feel like a basement, but it 100% feels like a basement. It’s quite dim/dingy and you can hear the noise from upstairs. The seating is very uncomfortable and old. The biggest issue and the main thing I wanted to caution any future guest is to perhaps look elsewhere if you have allergies or sensitivities. Unfortunately I am someone with intense allergies and both times I tried to stay I started having an allergy attack (bad cough, congestion, sore throat) and had to leave. Of course the property manger invalidated my feedback and experience. My assumption is mold being a basement but it’s hard to say. There is a musty sort of dank smell that was not pleasant and could probably be rectified by changing out the carpet for hard flooring. A mold test by a professional is probably wise in case there is in fact mold.

It’s a great, cozy place to stay. Lafayette is a cute little town center, but if you need to be in this area. This is for sure the place.

We were visiting family in Erie and wanted to visit Boulder, too. This was a perfect location for both. Very clean, very comfortable. Our only issue was one person in our party has cat allergies, and their allergies flared up after a half hour inside.

Lafayette gem

The location of this apartment is perfect! It’s so close to stores, restaurants, main roads and settled in a very safe neighborhood. The apartment is a basement but has its own e trance and personal patio that leads to a dedicated parking space. We had a hiccup with the lock the first night but the team was quick to answer and resolve the issues. The place has everything you might need for an extended stay, kitchen that’s small but fully stocked, full bathroom and regular sized washer and dryer. The place had super comfy beds with everything you might need, along with fast internet and cozy living room area with a decent sized entertainment section (video and board games included!) the best part was they allowed our fur babies! We needed an extra week for our townhouse to be ready and felt very at home in their cozy little piece of New Orleans in Lafayette, CO

Great location and pet friendly

The place was great, just as described. There was a slight hitch with check in when the links to pictures showing where to park did not load, but I figured it out eventually. Steep steps to get in but the backyard, beds, living room and kitchen were lovely and just as described. We hope to be back!
