Good: Located in Cenang, location is walkable to the main street or cheap Grab ride away from everything. Refurbished cascade pool, great staff, large rooms which are clean and refurbished. Off peak season low prices as compared to other properties. We stayed during Chinese new year when the price was same as Westin. Great for kids, new kids club plus animal farm. Spa is new reasonably priced and exceptional service Bad : Food is crap sorry there are no other words to describe it. The main pool will be nice once refurbished (planned between July2024 to Dec 2024) in current state I was concerned either myself or my kid will step on a broken tile and cut ourselves. Again we tried all three food outlets the lobby, Pelangi and spice, offerings are expensive and worst I have tried in an 5star property. If you skip the food I will be repeat customer for food I will go to nextdoor Casa Del Mar(walking) for dinner or lunch and smiling buffalo for breakfast(7 ringgit grab ride). Dec to April is dry seasons we had brown water coming out of tap but were assured it was already treated, so stuck to bottled water and no one got sick so it was indeed treated. 2024 Jan-Feb was exceptionally dry in Langkawi. Property facilities are being renovated and if the main pool is refurbished we might revisit and hope the F&B offering improves. No upgrade or great perks with VIP access (gold) but may be it was peak season with Chinese new year. Gym: add rowing machine and more instruments

Great upgraded facilities

Thi is the third time I’ve stayed here in ten years and the refurbishment has made a great difference. I’m really hoping the main pool is also ungraded as it really needs it. The cascade pool was great but the other pool has shade which is great for kids. It just felt dirty and run down. I didn’t receive my gold rewards discounts on dining unfortunately

Birthday holiday

The staff were so friendly and we were greeted with drinks and a very easy check in As I was celebrating a big birthday the hotel upgraded us to a sea view room. The stay totally made the birthday holiday special. Thank you

Had a garden triple suite. Massive space, really comfortable and private with views of pond, pool and children's farm, small terrace balcony with shade. Really high ceiling with air-conditioning and fan. Short walk to cascade pool. 30 to 40 mins max drive to places of interest on the island. Weather consistently idyllic. Would love to stay here again. Staff are incredible too. Buggy rides available as its quite a big resort.

Lovely property recently re-furnished some issues around new pool with people slipping ,but being addressed. Third time at this hotel gets better on every visit.
