The room was very nice and clean. The heater didn't work. The front desk sent a repairman really fast. It worked better after that but still not right. Overall a very nice stay.

We stayed in two different rooms over the weekend. When we stayed in the original 47 room 2213 it smelled smokey and the floor was sticky either from the mop or just the flooring. But the room itself was super cute and nostalgic! I loved all the mob photos in the halls and in the room! The premium tower room was awesome with an amazing view! I always love staying here the staff is so friendly, free valet and it's right on Fremont Street! I love El Cortez!! Will always go back!

I was unaware that I would not be staying in the casino. Instead I was across the street in a building with a different name and no casino. "Cabana Suite" means a suite near a pool. But that is not what it was. I would not even call it a suite. Either way, I was FORCED to pay the amenities/casino fee, even though the building I stayed in did not have a casino, and my "suite" was just a normal room with a small couch.
